Inspired by Friends!

I had the pleasure of crafting along with three of my wonderful friends - no it was not while side-by-side [darn it] but together would have been a huge bonus!

Our generous friend, Bonnie, sent three of us a little envelope filled with a bounty of blooms - Pinkfresh Dahlia's to be exact.  We each came up with our own design and today we're sharing them with you - the REST OF our wonderful crafty friends!

Here's my card - hope the girls like it!

Don't adjust your screens - my card is made from watercolor cardstock, so it is the lovely creamy white of Canson paper.  I love it with the soft pinks, greens, purple, and gold!  Five of the pieces came together seamlessly to follow the curve of this Pinkfresh Fancy Circle die.

This sentiment [from Pinkfresh's Hydrangea and Rose set] was stamped with Veramark and heat embossed using Ranger Princess Gold.  A few little pearls complete my very feminine card!

Please join me as I make the rounds, won't you?  I know we'll be both amazed and delighted!  Thanks so very much for your generosity, Bonnie!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of blogland today, too!

  5. Your card is absolutely STUNNING Michele, and I love that you used the Canson cs with the soft creamy white color that goes so well with the soft colors of the flowers and leaves...a perfect match! And how is it that I've never borrowed that PFS circle die??!! You definitely need to set that out when I come next time!! It made a lovely wreath when you added the flowers around it, and I would love something like that on my front door!! So glad Bonnie inspired us all to play...and INSPIRED I definitely have been! Lovely, lovely card my friend! Hugs. :0)

  6. I'm looking forward to when we can do it side by side, Michele, but this was the next best thing. I love the texture you got by using watercolor paper and the dimension with that wonderful circle die. Together they made a beautiful wreath card for that friend.
