I just love when I can play with neutrals - Stef has just the ticket over at Color Hues #61!
I had just received my latest goodies from The Stamp Market - the lily came in very handy for Stef's colors...
Stamped in copic-friendly CP Sand Castle ink, here are the markers used for this peachy-keen coloring session...
A sweet little strip of HoneyBee kraft gingham should make any birthday girl happy, right? Especially when bordered by a pretty eyelet! A few PF Pixy Dust Glitter Drops, and a teensy bit of Diamond Stickles on their stamen and my 'work' here is done!
That's it for me today - I have to get ready for a FaceTime chat with one of my favorite girls in the whole world! I have met Lindsey in person, but it has been 7 long years! Wait 'til she sees all my gray hair!! YIKES!
=]
Enjoy your face time! I find them very mood enhancing. Your peach and kraft combo is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect and those colours look amazing xx
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart...these colors are SPEAKING TO ME! You know I love my gingham...and peach....just gorgeous! How did I miss this challenge????

ReplyDeleteOOh, Another new favorite, Michele! Love this lily and your colors are perfect! I think you have a winner here!
ReplyDeleteOoooooooooooh do I ever LOVE this Michele! Your peachy flower is just GORGEOUS and I'm loving the bit of country vibe with the gingham and eyelet too!! Sweet, sweet card and just perfect for Stef's color challenge!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeletePretty card. Have fun face timing too 😀
ReplyDeleteMichele, your card design is so very pretty! The dainty lily is perfect with your beautiful peachy Copic coloring, and while the challenge colors are somewhat muted, you manage to bring Spring to your card with the gingham strip and the delicate eyelet border. Love this to pieces my friend! Thanks so much for playing along at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is just wonderful, Michele. First of all, you had me at gingham, then eyelet, then the colors and the beautiful bloom is showcased wonderfully. Outstanding work on this one!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful way to use those colors. L love the detail of the lacy die cut.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of different Copics for one bunch of flowers, Michele. That's probably why I don't do a lot of alcohol ink coloring but you have it mastered. The lilies are beautiful with the gingham strip and that lovely lacy edge.
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous card, Michele! I love how you colored your lily but let me also say that the eyelet border is just as pretty as can be too. A truly wonderful design! Thanks for sharing with us in the gallery at Color Hues.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, I love this so much! Beautiful colors and coloring, cheerful gingham, and that pretty eyelet border... sweet!
ReplyDeleteMichelle of my goodness your new Lily stamp is absolutely a beautiful bloom and your colouring is fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing its beauty with us at the Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteOh golly this is gorgeous! I just love me some peach, and you've used in amazingly -- in fact I saved your screen of peach copics and can almost see all of the labels
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Michele! The coloured bloom is gorgeous, but add the gingham, that pretty border die and all of that clean white - just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou made a lovely birthday card using a neutral color combo, Michele! Beautiful coloring of the lily with all those analogous colors. The Kraft gingham panel bordered by a pretty eyelet, and the sparkly gems surely make any birthday girl happy!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
