Just us Girls - #668 CAS + Coloring

It is always such fun to challenge myself to a truly CAS card while adding a smidge of coloring.  I'm currently experiencing the bluest skies and sunshine - you know what they say:  make snails while the sun shines!!  wait.  that might have been me.

I have put a ton of effort into creating a snail trail in the past.  Today, using the stamp included in this darling Concord & 9th Snail Mail set, I used Holographic embossing powder and think it's my best effort to date.  Here's a closer up...

Ta DA!  CAS and a little bit of coloring!

  1. Snail mail is the best and when you send it to tell someone they're the best it's even better! Love that shiny trail. Love the snail, the sentiment. Looks like a whole cute set! You did great with your CAS card and the coloring. A little dab'll do ya!

  10. CAS cuteness! Your "snail trail" takes me back to the 80's when I made a card with a slug/snail and I had to use Stickles for the slimey trail. Wish I'd known about embossing powder back then. ;)

  17. Way behind with my commenting Michele, so let me see if I can get caught up starting here. I had to chuckle at your "make snails while the sun shines". Never hear that expression before! Glad you are having blue skies and sunshine though! We go back and forth with blue skies and sunshine to dreary rainy days. Love, love, love this CAS card! Your snail is too cute and I love the way you colored him. The sentiment is perfect too! The snail trail is so fun and I love the holographic embossing powder you used. So fun! Such a great card to let someone know how much they mean to you....all using snail mail! LOL Love that! Hugs, Brenda
