I was intrigued by the bottom right corner of Vicki's Mood Board this week at JUGS #667 ... though I might have added a smidge of the aqua from those rolling hills at the top, too. See what you think - hope it doesn't make you seasick:

As the youngest you have to yell louder than the others to be heard! Love the stitching and all those waves with the sweet aqua sailboat!
ReplyDeleteI caught the tail end of The Perfect Storm this afternoon... you know the ginormous wave!! Your colorful waves are far lovelier and look right at home in the Just Us Girls gallery. HELLO right back atcha!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!!! Love this, the simplicity, the unexpected colors and yes, that bold sentiment :o)
ReplyDeleteAwesome inspired card. I like the angled hello too. Thanks for joining in at JUGS
ReplyDeleteSo striking, Michele! I think the colors are amazing. You are the youngest of 9?! Wow. I'm the youngest of 6. :) Looks like a great start to your week.
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at that mood board, and a similar idea came to mind. I love this card and the way you used the colors and placed that little aqua boat among the ginormous waves.
ReplyDeleteNope, not making me sea-sick...just HAPPY!! So CAS and just perfect Michele! I love the colors together and just the simpleness of this card...it really packs a punch! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeletewow, what a striking take on the mood board. <3
ReplyDeleteI have the impression the "hello" is being called into the depths, or perhaps from between the rolling waves. At any rate, this piece of art makes me think and see all kinds of things and that's exactly as it should be. I love those slopes and hills and the whole stylized look of this. Wow!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS! So glad you will be with us in March! You know the movement in this card is great...I think I even feel a bit queasy. Just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteTiny boat and huge hello, I am sure they will have heard that. Love those colours and your amazing inspiration. So clever to have the hello falling off the edge. I would never think to do that with a word die. Must try and remember the trick xx
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the waves and the tiny boat!
ReplyDeleteYoungest of 9... WoW! Sounds like it was a busy house lol. ps love love the colours and the flowing design of your card!
ReplyDeleteThe 'hello' at an angle magnifies the movement of the waves on your card, Michele. Great take on the photo. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super fun card Michele! Love the inspiration mood board, so many things to get inspired from on there. I love these colors of course because I'm a pinky gal with a bit of mint through in there. LOL I love how this came out and I'm not seasick at all. The huge hello is fabulous! Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteI love all of your colorful waves and that perfect sentiment! I do get seasick in a heartbeat but I handled your card just fine! And you are the youngest of nine?!? Wowza…..I am a one and only….lol…
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the way you laid this out!! I have a tough time breaking out of my straight lines and everything lined up cards - so I am in awe of you who can add a bold angled "hello" and a bitty boat and it's awesome. Not to mention the creative use of colors!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and striking card Michele! Looks like a sunset scene...and love that curvy, large Hello!!! So glad you joined us this week at Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I love those colorful waves with the little sailboat sailing by to say hi! Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this card, Michele! It's so unique and expressive. Love the movement of the waves, and even the cursive style of big Hello adds momentum to the waves. The tiny acqua boat is a perfect accent to break the color blocks!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
