A 'leftover' card for JUGS #667

While tidying up my desk, I found these great little leftovers - why not put them to use?  For Just us Girls #667 Mood board!

I stuck the 'waves' together with tape and sent the panel through my machine with this very old embossing folder... a little rain doesn't hurt - but I sure hope we don't get that ice in the forecast!

I have a set from Honey Bee that has these amazing teensy beach-y dies!  I found these
seagulls there - and that little sailboat from my original entry!  PTI's Dark Indigo is
the BEST navy of all!  In my humble opinion...

  8. Beautiful card, so calm and serene, I can hear the pitter patter of rain from here! At least it isn't the ice I have to travel through tonight

  12. By all means, why not use them? You have good leftovers! You know I love this look, and those little birds and clouds are just right for the "miss you" mood. Love the rain embossing, too. We got a few inches of snow yesterday and the doggies and I had to go out and play. Forever a kid at heart!

  14. You have certainly took your left overs and made a fabulous card Michele! I love the colors on this one too, the embossed rain drops are so fun and loving those clouds. I have to say, those seagulls are totally amazing...adore them. I really love that "miss you" die cut as well. Hope you didn't get any ice from the rain. Thursday we got up to 73, now back to the 40's, not as nice as the 70's but sure nicer than the single digits, teens for 20's! LOL I think spring might be on the way here, hope you see some signs of it too. Hugs, Brenda

  15. Who can make a fantastic card like this with leftover pieces, Michele? You're so ingenious! I think the rain embossing makes a big difference, and a combination of the solid cloud and the outline only cloud adds so much interest to the card.

  17. I am 100% with you on Dark Indigo being the best navy. Love, love, love it and I also love this card. Particularly how you kept inside the clouds embossing-free. Such an interesting and clever look.
