As often happens, when I make one card, I make two - isn't it wonderful that the second card fits perfectly for this week's JUGS challenge #662 to use a Heart! I've got miles, and miles and miles of heart[s]...
It all started with these two love birds, and two fun dies from HoneyBee Stamps, called Fluttering Hearts. One pierces the panel with lots of little hearts, the other cuts them out. I used the pierced die to hot foil onto a panel of white cardstock, then used the leftover foil to cover a panel - you'll see the results shaking around in the background in this infinity shaker pouch. I even used the cover plate to make the 'hills' heart-covered, too!
Such fun, loving the hearts and of course your sentiment inside.
ReplyDeleteMichele... loving your sense of humor! (Great background too.) I see that you are in the swing of Valentines Day. As always, thanks for joining Just Us Girls!!
ReplyDeleteI think everyone has heart ;) -- Couple of cute cards -- Thanks for joining in at JUGS
ReplyDeleteThis card just makes me smile...no, I confess, giggle out loud! Such cute little folks and all those hearts...who wouldn't get a giggle out of them!
ReplyDeleteOh again, tee hee! I looked at the older card first and now I'm giggling twice as much! It's a cool effect to use the dies together. Love the hills. Your inside sentiment is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely still have it my friend... even if it is over the other side of the hill lol.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how you used this die for foiling and that gorgeous red background! A great ideas to be able to cut some of the pierced hearts in the shaker! Love this couple! They look very proper right now. I wonder about when the lights go out?
ReplyDeleteOkay, they just make me smile! This is too cute for it's own good! So happy to see in in the JUGs gallery!
ReplyDeleteBahahaha!!! Only you Michele!! Love everything about this one...from your smart looking couple, all the foiled shine, the hearts, and of course your sense of humor!! Well done my friend!! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteTOO hilarious! Love the old folks, the hearts (wow the foiling) and all the heart elements are brilliant, Michele
ReplyDeleteBahahaha!! You're too funny Michele! But aside from your punny-ness, this card is AWESOME!! Love how you've colored the couple and that foiled background and heart hills are all AMAZING! Wonderful card!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI spotted this in the JUGS gallery and couldn't wait to take a look - I love the hearts, foil but most of all that sense of humour!! Fabulous! Now to track down those hearts in the shaker card- I am never one to resist a shaker ...
ReplyDeleteOh golly, fabulous card and sense of humor. This couple is adorable and I think it's awesome that you hot foiled the panel. So creative and clever. You still got it in spades!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so much fun, Michele, and I will be CASEing it some day. I have the heart background but never thought to foil it and didn't know it had a cut version too. Making it a full shaker was a great idea. You colored the old folks beautifully and of course your sentiment elicits a wink and a smile.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, great sentiment and great card, it looks amazing with all those hearts xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute and funny, Michele! I love everything about this card. The sentiment you came up with is the best! You really should design your own line of sentiment stamps.
ReplyDeleteOh you started my day with a smile! And I love your original sentiments! Totally fun!
ReplyDeleteI neglected to thank you for sharing this darling card with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteAnother cute card with the old couple, Michele! Love that the white hills are heart-covered, and that the red foiled background has lots of hearts as well. And most of all, love your sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
