The Flower Challenge #74 Add Embellishments

I can only speak for myself, but when it comes to embellishments Christmas cards are a wonderful place to add them, don't you agree?  A bit of bling during the holidays makes every spirit bright-er!  We're looking for Embellishments at The Flower Challenge this month... doesn't mean YOU have to make a Christmas card, but I did - in fact a few!  See if you catch where I've embellished my pretty new Poinsettia... and a few more ways...

  • Many, many years ago I was enabled by my friend Therese to invest in a jar of glass glitter bits.  I'm betting I won't use them all in my lifetime!  But don't they add a gorgeous bit of embellishment to this bloom?
  • I've 'embellished' my card base by adding a section of dry embossing
  • and the sparkle on this sentiment says it all - truly 'tis the Season: for sparkle!
Here are a few more...

We can't wait to see how you'll add embellishments to your floral cards!

Let's go see if it's bling or maybe buttons that have been added to my teamies cards! We have a wonderful guest this month, too: Hannelie is back with another gorgeous card!!

  2. Oh my word, these Christmas poinsettia cards are gorgeous Michele!!! The glass glitter bits are perfect for the centers of the poinsettias and I just love the embossing and the glitter sentiments. So fun! So gorgeous! I have no clue what glass glitter bits are or where you even get them from, but they sure are pretty on your card! lol Hugs, Brenda

  3. All so very beautiful! Your poinsettias appear velvety smooth and soft, and the colors you chose take them out of the ordinary. Love those glitter bits in the centers. This design is one to CASE and maybe I will, if you don't mind. Gee, I wonder if I still have that big poinsettia die...
