It couldn't be a more perfect time of year to pull out these colors for Color Hues!
Here is what our neck of the woods looks like at sunset this week:
No. this is not our home - sadly we don't have these gorgeous trees in our yard -
or I'd be out raking up, and jumping in!
My play date with Kristie was the perfect time to stamp a plethora of these Taylored Expressions' leafy backgrounds - must have been kismet that I'd choose hues of brown and orange Oxide inks for this one... and serendipitous that I had this cute bunch of corn from my friend Two Ls to add to it!

play so beautifully together. that deep brown wood grain paper is from Altenew.
I must thank Karen from the CH team for reminding me of this little bundle of love I brought back from our visit to New York a few years ago! OH you have to go see Karen's card - all the designers at CH really knocked it out of the park! Don't they always?

ReplyDeleteI love EVERYTHING about this card..the Indian corn, the colors, the dies, the background, love it ALL! And what gorgeous trees! We have some color starting but my woods is mostly just green and brown. :(

ReplyDeleteOrange & Brown are a difficult combo for me but not for you. This card strikes all the Fall notes beautifully. Awesome use of both the corn stamps and those dies.
