I only wish I had the time and energy to make a tree skirt like this one - but I'm happy to borrow its colors for my Inspired By card this week with my IB186C - Cool Holiday Christmas card!
Remember this sweet Christmas angel from Penny Black?
Angel Swing stamped in Memento Ink; Pine boughs from Wplus9 Winter Greenery.
Peace + Joy from Pinkfresh Festive Llama.
That old favorite EF came out for the first time this Holiday card making Season!
Here are all the Copics that I used today:

Oh Michele...absolutely LOVE this! That image is so dang CUTE to start with, and you've colored her just beautifully! Especially the ornament...it looks SO shimmery in the photo!! And another card for the Christmas stash...YAY!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteMichele... that angel swing is a hoot!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love how you incorporated all those colors into the Christmas ball, Michele! Awesome coloring, testure, dimension and sparkle!
ReplyDeleteNow you are talking my language! I so love these colors and this sweet, sweet angel makes me smile. I just love the texture and design that this EF provides and you've colored that ornament so wonderfully! I'm not yet ready to think Christmas (it was 106 degrees here yesterday) but you've given me a lovely kick-start. Thanks again for this sweet inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love this sweet angel! And your favorite embossing folder looks fab with it! This one brings a big smile, Michele!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly nailed another inspiration...those teals are fabulous against all that textural white. That E/F is the awesome as is the coloring on this angelic image.
ReplyDeleteHow much of a cutie patootie can we stand? This little angel hanging on to that dear ornament is just perfect against that amazing background! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweetie Michele, I can see why this stamp is a fave!
ReplyDeleteHi Michele, just made it here for a gorgeous catch-up! Sorry I couldn't link the Christmas lady with the glass of wine - she seems to be out of stock everywhere. The 'Let's Get Blitzened' is a MFT stamp and also out of stock. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteMichelle your card is just adorable and thank you for sharing the markers that you used. Such a sweet image from Penny Black! I have to play this challenge, just need a little push to get going!
ReplyDeleteYour ornament fairly glows with the aqua-ish colors. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh my cuteness, could she be any sweeter! I love the glittery wispy pine branches and our fave winter embossed background! Perfectly delightful card!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see this beautiful card with its little bare-bum angel! It makes me smile. As for the photo of the skirt, it reminded me of childhood Christmas trees as my mom used blue lights and teal/green glass balls.
ReplyDeleteThat little cherub is as cute as can be! And I love all the colors blended in your ornament - just perfect! Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a cutie patootie. Love the look you achieved on the ornament. So fabulous. The embossing folder is a winner and the additon of the sprigs, spot on. Your creativity is showing again and I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful job coloring that ornament, Michele. It shines like it's made of glass. Love the embossing and glittery greens too.
ReplyDeleteI love those gorgeous aquas and blues against the textured white! That ornament angel baby is a classic!
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on the inspiration photo! The cherub and bauble are colored perfectly, too--you're a Copic master!
ReplyDeleteWonderful texture, fabulous colouring on the beautiful bauble and a super cute card Michele x.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Love your nakie baby swinging by the branches and delighting in baubles!
ReplyDeleteLove that bauble hugging cherup and all of her surroundings. I love that EF, and your coloring is amazing. I love your take on the photo.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun inspirational photo! That tree skirt is amazing as well as the colors are. Now, wow, wow, wow with your card and how the inspirational photo took you! I am totally in love with this little Christmas Angel, how adorable! But it is the coloring of that bauble that has me drooling. Love these colors but you also nailed it with the silver and white background. You totally nailed this and I'm so in love with this card!!! Well done as usual! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh I love your take on the photo, Michele! Your sweet Christmas angel card has the amazing texture and colors of the photo, and it's perfect for the theme!
