By now I've figured out what most inspires me to make a card: a photo inspiration! I'm so loving all the bits of inspiration I found in Christmas Kickstart's Challenge #53 photo inspiration ... here's a closeup of it:

I love that heat embossed background too, it adds the perfect bit of extra interest. Overall an inspired take on the photo.
