Does anyone remember this little edger?
I love it for vellum!
I needed two of these Pinkfresh Studio's Lush Greenery - greenery that I left perfectly uncolored except for a bit of gold here and there - and I think they stacked up beautifully! Now. How will YOU use Sketch #390? as is? or given a flip? Anyway you do, we can't wait to see your work!

Fabulous is just what this card is, Michele.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it works fabulously on it's side too Michele! Love the image you used and just the touch of gold...and a perfect finish with the gold embossed sentiment on the vellum. Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteYou've chosen the right sentiment to describe your take on the cue...FABULOUS, or if you're Italian, FABULOSO!
ReplyDeleteLOVE, love this card...... the beautiful white space, perfect gold accents and fabulous sentiment!!
ReplyDeleteThat little edger gadget is a new one to me, but I love the results! This is a wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to flip the sketch...especially for these pretty blooms, Michele! I love your selective coloring and how you used the edger for the vellum panel, too! I think I have something like that tucked away somewhere...clever idea :) Barb xx
ReplyDeleteI didn't have an egder as posh as your but I am sure I have 'deckle' scissors somewhere lol. Your card is simply lovely Michele!
ReplyDeleteI remember edgers like that, but don't think I own one. Sure makes a lovely edge for the vellum. The card is simply gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWell, this cutie had me over on insta, but I love it more and more each time I look at it! Gorgeous idea to add touches of gold!

ReplyDeleteAmazing, something you don't cease to do! Love the gold, your edge, embossing with dies around your image and so much more, Michele!

ReplyDeleteHideko xx
That edger is obviously before my time because I have never seen it before, but I love it, what a perfect way to tear vellum. Love the black, white and gold with the embossed shadow, a great card xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card Michele! I love the leaves stamp you used, so gorgeous on it's own, I also love it uncolored except for a little gold. Great take on the sketch as usual! And you even have embossed your die around those leaves! Oh yes, I remember the tools that made the "torn" edges on paper, they are perfect for vellum. I love how your vellum looks and i love the word fabulous embossed on there. Just a beautiful card! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSweet, simple and classy!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous, Michele ... black, white, a touch of rich gold ... and the delicacy of the vellum ... yep, delicious! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you flipped the sketch Michele and what a stunner of a card x.The pop of gold looks so pretty and I like how you've left most of the greenery un-coloured x.
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! Jo x
