I was so surprised and honored by a recent win at Altenew … Inspiration abounds this month, too! Check out the photo from Altenew's May 2019 Inspiration Challenge - then tell me how in the world I could resist?
The talent at CAS Mix Up recently caused a little flurry of cardmaking in my studio. Armed with glossy photo paper, and my Altenew Wildflower Garden set, distress oxide inks, and a baby wipe!!!! I was able to achieve a pretty good facsimile of Altenew's photo, and the wonderful shadows, and light - it is a magical technique - can you believe it isn't a photo?
I wish you could see it for reals … off to the Altenew gallery!

ReplyDeleteAnd I'm still looking for my dropped jaw! This is FABULOUS!! I LOve the shadows you created and the pop of the red flower! It really looks like a photo with the baby wipe technique & the photo paper. It's a wonderful interpretation of the Altenew challenge photo too.
