Inspired By ... #16 ... hung out to dry!

Okay, my friends ... it's April 19th.  As I write this [April 17th] the scene outside my window does NOT invoke Springtime or this gorgeous Inspired By photo:

I surely hope you feel it in my card ... this photo brought to mind a collection of American Crafts designer papers I've had since I first started making cards!  Dear Lizzy came to my rescue today!  I simply used a few dies to dress it up!

A few tiny little artistic touches ... like a glossy accented
clock face...

and tiny little tags to complete the message, were all the embellishments I've added!

Now I know this is going to cause a few folks ear worms ... I had a much snarkier tone of voice than Lionel Richie used when singing Hello!

I am totally sincere when I ask you all to play along with IB#16, and hope your Spring is in much better condition...

Supplies:
EH Brushstroke Hello die
MFT Pinking Edge dies - sorry to say, I cannot find them in the MFT store!

Your card and the inspiration photo bring to mind a trip to Amish country, the sun was out so of course the laundry was hanging out as well. Your card is darling and a fab take on the photo. Hope it warms up where you are soon.

O my goodness, Michelle!!!! I LOOOVE this card! Everything about it just perfect! It really reminds me of an idyllic Spring....Which we seldom get here! Hope Spring is starting to look up in Michigan! We're just seeing the snow melt here finally :)

You...snarky? I don't believe it!!!

I remember these Dear Lizzy papers...and they're perfect for your lovely springtime design, Michele! I love how you hung the tags from your sentiment, and clock from the branch...so sweet and totally 'spring'! I also love that you chose the camouflage die cutting technique for the alphas...it looks amazing!
Sure hope it starts to warm up for you soon...enough is enough with winter weather!

What a lovely little scene, Michele. I kind of remember Dear Lizzy as being really popular there for a while. I really like how you used it here. The colors are perfect for Spring or what we wish Spring would look like. I hope Mother Nature starts to cooperate for you and the others who have had way too much snow. Happy weekend! Hugs!

Wow, this is such a lovey take on the inspiration photo, Michelle! You’ve created a such pretty spring “hang out to dry” scene.
I love the hidden sentiment (Hello), the dangling tags & the clock, and the great use of the patterned paper.

Our spring is out of control! I think we need a sit down with Mother Nature, she's needs to be taken into hand LOL! This card is as sweet as it can be Michele and I like the happy colors. Super cute!
