I certainly have not used my Prisma Color pencils, or kraft, enough, so I'm excited for Challenge #8 'color on kraft!'
I've used a NBUS set of stamps and dies from Impress Cards and Crafts. I was so lucky to have won these products - isn't that the best? - from one of their fun #impresscardsandcrafts IG challenges! The set is called So Many Things to Love, and I think it's fabulous!
Inside: "I couldn't begin to count them ... though YOU counting ME as your friend is at the top of the list!"
The hearts were stamped, kraft on white, and clear heat embossed on kraft. I haven't had much practice coloring with Prisma's at all, but I won't hesitate to keep trying!
I used the matching dies to impress the largest heart on the card front, and die cut the kraft ... I even had kraft colored foam to give that little one a bit of a lift!
Thanks Impress, for the wonderful prize, and thanks to Darnell for giving us all the opportunity to win her fabulous line up of prizes, too! Just playing along is a total win for me!
OH! thanks to all of you who drop by for a visit ... what a way to make a girl's day!

Pretty! I think I should give this a go....I love watercoloring but not such a fan of the pencils, so it would be good for me to s-t-r-e-t-c-h myself, doncha think?

ReplyDeleteOMGosh, I'm so behind on the times!!! Didn't know there was a new NBUS challenge from Auntie Darnell, now I need to get on the stick and get something made. Love how your card turned out Michele, it is just beautiful! You colored with your Prisma's so well! I've never colored on Kraft colored cardstock before so this should be interesting. lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLovely card Michelle, the colouring on kraft is so pretty and vibrant.
ReplyDeleteLove the design of this Michele, with the embossed heart and then the dimensional heart - such pretty flowers too.
ReplyDeleteOh, your little craft heart is simply beautiful, Michele!!!! The brighter colouring on the kraft and the much lighter pink and green on the bigger heart is such a great idea!!!! And I LOVE the sentiment on the bright pink banner!!!! It is such a great sentiment and your card is simply GORGEOUS, my friend!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!!

Your coloring on kraft looks fantastic! I really like how the pink and green pop off the kraft. And then you added the flower on the whie heart. Such a lovely contrast. That pink for the sentiment just makes me happy. I love a good saturated color like that. And the way the sentiment looks so crisp and clean. That sentiment is wonderful too. Such a delightful card. Thanks so much for sharing it, my friend! :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWOW ! This card is absolutely stunning Michele ! I love your whole design ! What a great idea to use the kraft to make the smallest heart ! And your colouring is superb ! Thanks for sharing and for inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card, Michele, and your coloring is just fine. Better than that - it's wonderful. I love how the leaves stick off the side of the heart. I never think to impress dies into my card. I'd better make a note of that.
ReplyDeleteSweet and pretty! This caught my eye on Darnell's challenge and had to come look. Beautifully crafted and krafted!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! Love the embossed flowers and then how you stamped over it in gold. Such a cool design. Love the white on the pink for the lovely sentiment too!! Great design!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Michele, and what a lovely prize! I absolutely LOVE how you personalise the inside of each of your marvellous creations with your own heartfelt sentiments...unique and oh-so special, gorgeous friend.
ReplyDeleteYou chose the perfect hue of colored pencil for those sweet flowers, Michele! And I adore how you used the bold CS with your sediment embossed in white! (Kraft-colored foam? What will they think of next - or have I been under a rock?!) Congratulations on the great win and thank you for playing in my NBUS Challenge #8 and joining in the optional theme! Hugs, Darnell
