Just when I think Chrissy has tricked us into a bit of hard thinking for this week's Sketch, I had a light-bulb moment! Here you go:
At first glance you might think four or five layers, right? but Chrissy never said they had to be Rectangular layers!! No. she never sets rules.

These balloon dies, from SSS, have been in my stash for years, and years. They still are as fresh, and cute, as day one in my eyes. I had a bit of a 'keren-baker-moment' leaving the balloon tops intact and raised above the card base ... it will require a 5x7" envelope, but that's okay by me.
Hope it's okay with Chrissy ... let's run by CTS and see what she created with her Sketch, shall we?

Fine, Michele, you can call it a "light bulb moment", but I prefer to see it as a "stroke of genius" - what a fun, bubbly Valentine's card!

ReplyDeleteI love the way you think, Michele. I've had that balloon die forever also and I'm not sure I've ever used that big one. I love the papers and the way the stamped sentiment curls around the bottom of the balloons. Pinning for sure!
