Ellen Hutson's Mix it Up Challenge: March - Pretty Pink Posh!

Banner-MIX-it

There are so many pretty ways to combine E. Hutson and Pretty Pink Posh for the Mix it Up Challenge this month!!

Where do I begin?  With the Christmas Scribbles, of course!  I have been wanting to turn Julie's little tree into something completely different ... so I turned it upside down ...

First off, I embossed PPP's Decorative Tag #1 onto a piece of watercolor paper, then painted in a little puddle, and added a few sprinkles of rain from the Sweet Pea Sequin Mix.

Then I did a little masking - quite easy, no need to cut! - removing the base of the tree, and the star on top.  My little handle is one little bitty branch of the snowflake ... could you tell?  What 'feel better' card could have a more perfect, positive, message than this one from Julie's Up the Happy?  Voila!  I've stamped it on a PPP Stitched tag.

I'm ashamed to say these words:  it might be too sunny today for photography!
The Pink compliments of Altenew Cotton Candy.

This was a really fun little umbrella to make ... it would not keep many raindrops away, but wouldn't you look really posh 'wearing' it?

Thanks for your visits this week ... it means the world to me!
Here is a little peek into the NICU at Miss Peanut where she is obviously dreaming of her Grammy...
Happy Smile worthy!
