Glitter, Tic Tac Toe, and Time Out!

It's a good thing I receive reminders from some of the challenges I enter ... oh the deadlines I've missed!

First up:  Tic Tac Toe challenge 3:

I've chosen Love, Polaroid, and Stitching [and in my case, a stitched frame made the perfect polaroid]:

Wplus9 Doodle Buds and dies,  MME In Bloom paper, and
another of those SSS Frame dies remnants which I've linked as I had so many questions about them with my plaid cards.   MFT Wonky Rectangles, and Squares.  PTI Primitive White CS.

I'll also be sending this on over to Time Out's Inspired by Words challenge.  'Love is the flower you've got to let grow'  John Lennon - Mind Games.  I think the love of friendship is just as important to nurture, and often yields a beautiful bounty in return.

Next up is a little glittery number for CASology Week 183: Glitter!

MFT Blueprints 18; SSS frame die again; Glitter paper from Lindsey's kit!
Oh!  a little slip of vellum, too.
My sentiment is borrowed from:

Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice, 1596:
O hell! what have we here?
A carrion Death, within whose empty eye
There is a written scroll! I'll read the writing:
All that glitters is not gold;
Often have you heard that told:
Many a man his life hath sold
But my outside to behold:
Gilded tombs do worms enfold.
Had you been as wise as bold,
Young in limbs, in judgment old,
Your answer had not been inscroll'd:
Fare you well; your suit is cold.
Shakespeare on Sunday!?  I'll leave you now...

Wow!! I love that you used SHAKESPEARE inside the card!! I think I need to dust off my book I have had since I took a class on him in college!! Both of your cards are FANTASTIC!! Love the stitched frame (NEED this) on the first card with the pretty paper and the way you colored the flowers. The second card with that gold glitter accents on white is just breathtaking!! FABULOUS design!!

I love the pattern on that tiny frame, Michele, and the colors of the Doodle Buds. That card has so many wonderful elements all rolled up into a fantastic card. The glitter one is far removed from the first but a star in it's own right. ;)

Two really gorgeous cards, Michele! Love your take on the Polaroid and how you layered your blooms on the first card, and the sparkle on your 2nd card is so yummy! Love that you added the quote by Shakespeare, too...thanks :)

Michele, you don't know how happy it makes me to see you play along with our Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. Your cards are always a delight and any excuse to visit your blog is a great one. :) I love how you created your polaroid out of the wonky stitched rectangles (which are very very high on my wishlist). And The way you filled the space with the patterned paper is awesome. The whole card is fantastic! And your glitter card? I love it!! Love it lots. I love the the oodles of white space, the sentiment, the variety of sizes/styles of starts, the offset thin frame...love it all!

And I'm blessed to call you friend, too! Your polaroid/flowers is a stunning combination! And quoting the Bard...impressive! I've taught Merchant more times than I'd like to reveal; it is a touching play. Wonderful sentiment to pair with your gorgeous, glittering stars...

I am happy to see you join the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge, Michele. The polaroid is genius, I just love it. Your card just makes me smile. I adore the love / friendship symbolism too.

You made me giggle when you mentioned reminders for challenges. You do not know how many times I look at challenges and say I am going to participate and then time gets away from me.
