... for Two Paper Divas, that is! I've had a blast playing with my T.P.D. goodies! I hope you don't mind this one last card?
I've tried to capture the essence of Halloween with this dark and spooky, trick-or-treating neighborhood ... honestly? I'd still go if I could get away with it!
Thank you, Gayla and Melissa, you Two Paper Divas! It has been such fun to play cards with you!

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of black on black, then that bright colored DP! Great card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea - the black embossed line image. Gotta try that. tfs
ReplyDeleteSo....as a grown up, I used to Trick or Treat for drinks and snacks with the other girls from work! Waaaay better than candy! Woohoooooooo... Oh, I should tell you that this is a fun card too. Love the nighttime embossed panel against the fun dp base. And where in the world did you find purple googly eyes??!! Darn sweet and fun Halloween card. Bev
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, Michele! I'm picturing you dressed up perusing the neighborhood with your Trick-or-Treat bag :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love black embossing on a black background, and those spooky purple eyeballs are amazing! Fabulous card, my friend!!!
Fantastic card--love the black on black embossing.
ReplyDeleteLove the spooky neighborhood card! The embossed houses on the black card stock is awesome! Thanks for an awesome month, Michele!
ReplyDeleteEEEEK!!! Super spooky cute Michele, love the black embossed neighborhood. And those eyes are a hoot!! You've done a fabulous job guesting!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun Michelle, Awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI love going trick-or-treating (with the kids, that is ... one year soon they won't let me go I'm sure) Love the eyes you snuck in your sentiment! Super cute!!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful elements on this card, Michele - the shiny embossing, those purple googly eyes and that fun BG paper!
ReplyDeleteI have the best of both worlds when it comes to Trick or Treating ... I absolutely adore dishing out candy to all the little ghosts & goblins that come to my house (they're adorable!), but I also get to go Trick or Treating with my Grandkids and it's a joy watching them go door to door (especially when they can't quite say "Trick or Treat" LOL)
What a neat idea! Great one, Michele!
ReplyDeleteSo Cool!! Love the black embossing and the eyes. And hope I'm not imagining things as no one else mentioned it, but what about that creepy shadow. Did you do that or is patterned paper?
ReplyDeleteAwesome Halloweeen card! I love the clear embossing on the black, great effect. Cool purple eyes :)
ReplyDeleteThis is SPOOKTACULAR and so very clever and extremely awesome!!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say that everyone else hasn't already said? Black embossing on black, spooky purple eyes, that eerie shadow. Halloween at it's best. As a side note: I'd be glad to dress up and go trick or treating with you. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is cool!! LOVE the black on black technique that you used. The little moon with the "boo" sentiment rocks. WONDERFUL design!!
ReplyDeleteLove the clear heat-embossing on the black, Michele - looks great!!! The patterned paper is so perfect and how you've cut the top edge is such a clever idea!!!! Those purple googly eyes are so cute!!!! You've really picked the perfect spot and time to photograph your card with the shadow falling on it - so spooky!!! What a cute Halloween card!!!!

Can I come join you go trick or treating??? Must be such great fun!!!
Never trick or treated in my life ... though I could be persuaded to knock at Tiffany's bejewelled door ... wonder what they give out in their treat boxes??? Gorgeous, spooky neighbourhood, my friend ... you've aced this GD spot! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go trick-or-treating with you any time! We could dress up as a pair-a-dice, because being with you, gathering candies, would be 'paradise'! Your spooky card: totally awesome! Purple googly eyes: want!
