CASEing Kelly! a Blog Hop!

It was truly and honor [and surprise] to be featured on Kelly Latevola's CASEing Genius!  Today I'm honored again to be joining the other 'geniuses' to CASE Kelly!!
Surprise Kelly!
My Photo

Even though I am sorely lacking her skills with coloring, I shelved my fears, and added lots of color to my CASE of these three genius cards:

I've created a curved panel for my card-base, a postage stamp die cut, which I then colored, and popped up - even a bit of a shaker element, too!  How do like me now, Ms. L ??!!  Okay.  You would have so colored those leaves and stems ... but our leaders did say to 'make it my own.'  =]

Kelly, we love you!  My sentiment says it all ... you celebrate beautiful every day, and we are all grateful for it.  Thank you, so much, for shining a little of your love-light on each one of us!  Happy blogging anniversary!

What is a blog hop without some fun prizes?! Leave a comment by 11:59 pm EDT on Thursday, October 29th along each stop in the hop to increase your chances of winning a prize from one of our sponsors: a2z Scrapbooking, Altenew, Create a Smile Stamps, Dee's Artsy Impressions, DJ Kard Kreations, Hero Arts, Ink Road, Lia Stampz and Simon Says Stamp! Winners will be notified by email after October 29th.

Okay, everybody!  Here are Kelly's Geniuses!
Hope you HOP over to see their creations, but
before you go ... my special thanks to Marika, and Nina-Marie for organizing us [that is a job!!]
and to Kara Vrabel - who held my hand, making it possible for me to create my first blog-hop post!!

Michele Ferguson - you are here!

Thanks so much for stopping by - always makes my day!

  46. I know that Kelly has mad coloring skills, but I am being blown away by the skills shown by all of your lovely ladies on the hop! You did a fantastic job with your coloring, and frankly leaving the stems and leaves white added to the affect of the card, and obviously made it your own! Anyway can try to absolutely mimic another's work (although I couldn't touch Kelly's coloring talent!) but it takes true creativity to look at that wok, get inspired and create something u inquest, but that still references the original, you did this beautifully!

Thank you for being a part of this lovely hop to honor Kelly. I don't know Kelly personally (alas) but have followed her blog for years and am in awe of both her talent and her heart as a human being. It is nice to see her getting this kind of recognition from her fellow crafting friends and I am sure she is overwhelmed.

  47. What a fabulous honour for Kelly to be featured in this lovely hop! She truly possesses a huge talent for colouring and card making, and her cards always make me wish I had a wee bit of those skills (LOL), so I can empathize with your fear, Michele. But you did a wonderful job with your floral card. Celebrate Beautiful indeed :-)

  79. Your first blog-hop card/post are a stunning, smashing success! Applauding the trio of Kelly's cards you selected and wildly cheering your 'smerging' (we actually used that word as part of assessment practices, a few years back!) of various elements to make a uniquely YOU card! The colouring, the shaker element, the non-colouring...love x love this!
