It's 12 Kits time!!! Yay!
"Let's hear it for the Boys!"
After drooling over Jeanne Jachna's fabulous kit for weeks, spread out all over the bed in the guest-room/craft-room, I set out this week to create a few [ahem] cards. When that first card gets made? Ideas seem to come out of nowhere! It helps when you receive only the cutest, most fabulous packages from your teamies - thanks Jeanne!!! =]
Enough! Grab a cuppa something ... here goes!
1st: For my Dad:
who hated getting caught in his boxer shorts -
who hated getting caught in his boxer shorts -
hey, he had nine kids: six girls, three boys,
two bathrooms - it doesn't take a math wiz
to figure the probability of this happening!
Sure wish he was still with me... Inside: "You're the tweet-est, Dad"
Inside: " It's about time I thanked you for all the "grease."
Inside: "I mean: really, really old bean - happy birthday!"
Inside: "You also knew when one was needed... thanks."
Inside: "And that's comes straight from the
horse's mouth - no manure!"
Inside: "Okay. I know the bright side is hard to see sometimes -
that's why I included the binoculars! Feel better soon."
Inside: "You really deserve a tidal wave of congratulations!"
Inside: "Wait... you're retiring? I guess this should say
'fish, or do any other darned thing you want to, you lucky dog!' "
Inside: "For the other special guy in my life, happy Father's Day, Son."
I hope you haven't fallen asleep by now... I have to leave you with a little smile over Tom's 'father's day' card:
Inside: "I saw, maybe got hammered - you know I'm still a cheap date...
but certainly didn't screw up
when choosing the best second Dad I could find for my kids!"
Jeanne there is so much cuteness left from your kit! I will be using it here and there - you can bet on it! Thank you!
Note: the inside sentiments are mine and may not be copied, printed or otherwise used without expressed permission. I would never intentionally use the words of others, nor would I be happy if I ever found mine on a stamp set - unless it was mine. =]
okay, such fabulous inspiration...I love them all!
ReplyDeleteWow! You knocked this kit out of the park. Amazing Michele!
ReplyDeleteYou really rocked the kit my friend! Each and every card is an absolute knock out. I will admit to being a bit partial to the "Work Less..." card. Those lures are so cool!! But I'm lovin' them all. Well done you!! Bev
ReplyDeleteWow! These are all fantastic! So very cute and colorful!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow!! YOU ROCKED this kit!! I love each and every one. The layering, the fun way you used the embellishments and your inclusion of the "inside" sentiments-all just so FABULOUS!!! Great use of this kit!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle these are incredible...
ReplyDeletelove 'em!
But I'm gonna be CASE'ing those 2 fish cards for hubby without a doubt!
Only it's dangerous business to tell him to fish more, work less...
he would take me literally and then could use it against me in court! :)
Wow! Awesome use of this kit! Love both your lure cards SO much.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards each and every one!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, great group of cards here today Michele! Love the bit about your dad. 7 girls and 2 boys when I grew up. I absolutely love your fish cards! We all had the same idea with the tool board!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I cant believe all the fab things you made Michele! You win for most creative layouts! I love how you match the images with the cutest sentiments! The squeaky wheel made me laugh! Your layouts amaze me too - the twine with the lures, the monocle dude peeking out from under the umbrella, and that soft blue topper on the one with the birds. So hard to pick a fave but I LOVE the motorcycle one! All amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis post is EPIC!!! I love each and every on of these cards Michele, love your attention to detail. My favorite is the "work less, fish more". That's my Joe up one side and down the other!! If I didn't know better, I would say my son was born with a fishing pole in his hand!!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW....WOW....Awesome cards! Just unbelievable post, Michele. Each one is designed so thoughtfully & inside sentiments are just cherry on top. You are so talented. XXX
ReplyDeleteMichele, all these cards are amazing!! It was wonderful to see all these cards together and I appreciate you to share them together even though it is a lot of work behind these. I think my absolute favourite is the first one! Just love the idea of boxers. Just love it and that patterned paper is perfect for it! You are so genius, Michele!
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are amazing, Michele! I just love how fun they are1 How wonderful it must be to be a part of something as cool and creative as this! Wow!
ReplyDeleteAmazing set of cards here, Michele! I can tell you were so inspired with this kit! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteYou get the prize for most cards created from one kit in one post, Michele ... I mean, I think so, it would appear so! Now I just want to back away from the computer and go create with all this amazing masculine card inspiration washing over me!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you are really rockin the guy cards. Super, simply super duper. I especially love the fish hanging on the line. So smart.
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing and fabulous cards...love them all. You rocked this kit and totally owned it too. I love all your fantastic creations and looking forward to casing you!
ReplyDeleteWow, I could never pick a favorite from this collection, Michele. Every one is amazing and SO clever--and even more special with your fun sentiments! I would never have guessed your card was boxer shorts without your note--so funny! LOVE both of the fish cards, especially the one with the twine! I think I need to CASE both! And BTW, the blue on my deer card was navy, the cardstock Jeanne included.
ReplyDeleteWell, you KNOW how I feel about these!!! The 12KOO reveal is a permanent fixture in my diary, and guess where my spare time is headed over the next few days as I visit (stalk) your teamies!! These are SO awesome!! Not only are your layouts knockout, but your sentiments inside are ROF funny!! Oh, for a smidge of your talent!! I'll be back for a second and third gawk. Don't you know it!! Xx
ReplyDeleteAwesome bounty of masculine cards! Love all of your personal greetings :)
ReplyDeleteWOW, you've been busy, Michele and what great cards you have made!!! Love them all - so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh Michele, these are all fabulous masculine cards!! I love the sentiments on them and then your clever sentiments on the inside of each card. You are so clever and talented my friend. I love reading about your dad hating to be caught in his boxer shorts. lol But with that many kids, it was bound to happen. We had the 6 boys and one bathroom. It was much easier with boys with one bathroom because they could go outside! lol Love, love, love all these! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWow, Michele--amazing inside and out. You definitely should start your own line of inside the card sentiments. Each card is just so very perfect. I especially like how you used that bicycle paper clip, made an umbrella for your 'old bean' guy, and used those amazing fish that I never got to.
ReplyDeleteMichele I can't believe how many amazing cards you made with the kit! You did something so unique with each and every one of them. I especially like the 'work less fish more'. Way to make the kit your own. Will be CASEing some of your cards for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow, Michele, you sure are firing on all cylinders with this fantastic 12 kits collection of cards! Each one is brilliant ... especially the fun inside sentiments ... I was particularly taken with the two fish ones ... bright, fun, and so clever! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME job with the cards for guys and with all the fun sayings to go with them - YOU totally ROCK!!! So fun to see all the great things you have made for the men in your life - aren't they lucky!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my word...you made...so....MUCH!!! I'm scrolling and thinking, oh I like this one the best, but then I got to the next one...gheesh, I love them all! I especially love the lure card, I love the die cut circle behind and how the colors pop on the white. The orange birds on the kraft are so stunning. I also love the other lure card and how you added the cute googely eyes and embossed the paper behind them. And I love the way you used the twine behind the cowboy. You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm finally getting around to seeing what you made with your 12 Kits, and I'm amazed at your creativity. Every card is so well thought out and shows your sense of humor. I especially love the boxers. That is priceless.
