Here is her awesome CTS#125 sketch:
I'm trying to be more creative, artistic, and interesting with my creations ... more "out of the box!" Yeah, right...
I received this awesome stencil from sweet Shery Russ at Stamplorations ... it is called Brackets and I love it. I've also used a bit of my new pearlescent embossing paste from Dreamweaver... wow is this gorgeous i.r.l. ... a few sentiments heat embossed with platinum powder, which looks incredible with the e.p. and that's it.
What do you think? Okay ... it is still pretty "inside the box." So here is my 'second helpings' card:
Okay. Who said "I am what I am, and that's all that I am!"
I do know I will be enlightened when I see all the gorgeous cards you all create... Thanks, always.

I love both of these, Michele! This first one is so cool, but elegant at the same time.... and the second one is very fun! Fabulous takes on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your first card is stunning Michele!! What do you mean you are trying to be more creative?!! You are very creative!!! I am loving that pearlescent embossing paste, so pretty so I can imagine what it must look like in real life. I love that bracket stencil, will have to get that one!! And then to finish up with the platinum embossing powder on your sentiment-well this card is just stunning! Love your second card to, it is more playful and fun where as the first card is just plain elegant. What a fun sketch!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are amazing Michele, in fact all your cards are so beautifully put together, I can always see all the thought that goes into the finer details and placement of elements, you are an inspiration to us all (either inside or outside the box)!
ReplyDeleteI love it when you get all artsy on us Michele!! These are both fantastic interpretations of the sketch. Was is Popeye who said I am what I am?
ReplyDeleteReally Michele! These are super. Love that embossing paste too. Haven't ventured into the world of pastes yet... Absolutely love your colour scheme. Love how both your cards are so different, yet would work as a gift set. Love how you do that!! How many times did I use the word 'love' in this comment??
ReplyDeleteLook at you, getting out the embossing paste. These are terrific, Michele. Two very different and creative cards, held together by a colorway.
