I must thank this lovely bouquet at The Card Concept, as it surely makes me smile:
I've used Distress Inks for water-coloring, several sprinkles in the way of sequins, and a sentiment from the March SSS card kit - if you haven't seen it, please take a peek - gorgeous collection of yellows and greys! [Which you may see soon - hint, hint =]
Daisies, and Dahlias, and Mums - oh my! This time, I added a bit of grey to the background to convey how flowers could make anyone forget about grey skies, or Winter!
What makes you "think Spring?"
Thanks for stopping by! =]
Michelle, I love your vibrant colors against the gray. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bouquet Michele! Love the grey background and the rich and vibrant colours in the blooms! I may have to get this floral set after all... Love your sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI know it's Spring here in Austin when the Texas Mountain Laurel blooms. Mine are threatening to burst in a day or two BUT, we are supposed to have our temps go from 70 to 30 in the next 7 or 8 hours! Anywhoo...when they do bloom, it smells like grape Kool Aid. The next bloomer will be the Wisteria. They have a delicate fragrance unique to them too.
You said it girl...41 yesterday and 14 tomorrow...enough already!!! Your card is a welcome breath of fresh spring air, so needed on this gray day!! Love it ;)
