Narelle is our sketch designer this week at Freshly Made Sketches #728 - her cards are always so cool, so I really wanted to push myself this week.
This design came to me in the moments after waking up one morning! I'll start with my closeup so you can see that I've used my VERY OLD DCWV Adhesive Fabric for the card panel and sentiment strip... sorry Susan - it seems that it is no longer available.
... plus a little more 'unraveled' twine! The circles were cut with various sizes
from a few of the many embossed panels I have in my stash. Some sent to me
from friends, some brought home from Marcia's - please don't ask me for
the folder names as I wouldn't have a clue!
Let's head over to the Freshly Made Sketches challenge post, shall we? I can't wait to see Narelle's card and how the rest of the team have interpreted FMS#728!

This is crisp, clean and beautiful! I love the different textures you combined to create the design. Just striking.
Awesome take on the sketch Michele and definitely outside the box....LOVE it! The different textures are so fun and I recognize the middle two...SU!'s Cane Weave 3D and SSS's Feather Spiral. Loving the bits of twine too! Beautifully done my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Oh this is so fabulous ( I started to say delicious, but that was just weird.) Its like all the best from a winter white outfit but better with lovely textures. Great way to showcase the sketch.
Nice! I love what you did with the sketch and, frankly, I couldn't say it better than Cat 'cuz I'm thinking exactly the same thing!
Wow! Another out-of-this-world interpretation that has me picking my chin off the floor! This is amazing, and letting all that texture do all the hard work too - unbelievable.
A very elegant use of the sketch well done!
Love your white on white interpretation of Narelle's sketch - it is perfect and very elegant.
I always love white on white and the different embossing on each circle adds such wonderful texture and so does the fabric and the frayed thread!
Whatever the names of the embossing folders; they all play well together! I like the bit of creamy twine and the creamy sentiment banner. This is a fabulous take on the sketch, Michele!
I commented on IG but had to come and get second helpings of your white on white beauty--plus, the unraveled twine. Love it all!
This is just so lovely, Michele!
Michelle, would you mind sharing the information for the peel n stick fabric. It is such a lovely look.
You must have cut those circles by hand, Michele, since the embossing is so crisp. What a great idea to feature different embossing folders on your card.
I adore this card so much . It’s clean. Simple yet so very eye catching. I love the idea of embossing circles of different sizes. It’s so gentle on the eyes it catches your attention for sure. I love the color the effect of what you made is incredible Michelle ❤️
What a fun and creative use of the sketch! The embossed circles are fabulous. And the white with a hint of off-white is wonderfully elegant!
