I've loved sharing the bounty of Penny Black with you friends .... I have one more set and two cards using it today! Hope you like them!
Heartsong has been on my wish-list for long enough! I'm so happy to finally make it mine...
This first card uses both of the images in the set - the bird on the branch, and the
leafy bough, too! I used the bough to add a little interest around the edges
of the PB Classy Frame used to frame that sweet Bluebird! [BTW there are
at least a dozen Bluebirds visiting our backyard these days. I wonder if they are waiting
for Tom to treat them to those mealworms again?] This time I popped up the center
portion of frame - I rather like it!
This one is inspired by Jill's gorgeous card on the packaging - one day I MIGHT
be almost as good at water coloring these darling images! Practice makes almost perfect!
Finally, I've used the smallest of the frames in that set - doesn't it make the
prettiest frame for the sentiment? Of course I had to add a little sheet music for
his song using PB Music Background cling stamp.
One of these will be shared with my friends at Triple B!
My box of cards for the seniors is nearly full - you would find SO many Penny Black cards inside! No time like the present to add a few more!
Until next time - thanks so much for stopping by and the kindness you leave behind!

Oh, yes, all the bird stamps! Beautiful use of the frame by popping it up, plus using the other leafy stamp in the background is ideal as it frames the frame! And there's that music again in the second card -- so lovely. Your watercoloring is every bit as pretty as Jill's, Michele!
ReplyDeleteTwo more wonderful cards. You have been busy. I am so glad to hear that your box is nearly full. That will be a job well done xx
ReplyDeleteAwesome use of those frames, Michele! Your bluebird and robin rival Jill's' birds! Love that sentiment!
ReplyDeleteThose pretty little PB birds have found a good home! Both cards are so soft and beautiful, Michele!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Michele! Your birdies are delightful and colored so beautifully, and those frames are really growing on me BIG time!! (Might have to cut a few when we get together!!) You and Penny Black are an awesome match my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards using this lovely set from Penny Black. Love the bird paired with the background of musical notes. xx
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear their beautiful music. Two more lovely cards to make people smile. Thank you for making me smile!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Michele!!
ReplyDeleteHoly Christmas! These are sooooo gorgeous, Michele. I LOVE the frame on the first, and popping the middle up was the perfect move. I really love the sheet music image in the background and the sentiment that pairs so perfectly with it. These birds are so wonderful, and so you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Michele and your coloring looks perfect to me. I love the way you popped up the center of the frame on card 1 and the sentiment on the smallest frame on card 2. The music background is perfect with that sweet little bird.
ReplyDeleteI love this stamp set and you've used it beautifully, Michele. I hope your birds in your houses are as pretty as these! Mealworms? You can keep 'em...
ReplyDeleteYou've become the biggest Penny Black fan and made all of their stamps shine! I love how you made that one bird look different with the coloring of its markings. And there are those gorgeous ornate frames again!
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love birds so these cards really speak to me, Michele. I got a bird stamp (4 different birds) from PB but now I need branches to put them on.
ReplyDeleteTotal sweetness here today!
ReplyDeleteOk, as much as I loved those couples, this bird may be my favorite. Love you colored them differently. They both could be birds in our backyard at our many many feeders and now birdcam. We have an Eastern bluebird as a regular at the birdcam these days.
ReplyDeleteThese are both just AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Triple B challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
