An Autumn playday with Marcia!

Hey, you!  I'm so glad you dropped by!  I promised you a glimpse of a playdate I recently enjoyed with my sweet friend Marcia - she was ready with a fun assignment when I arrived!

I always admire her use of Lindy's Magicals and I was very happy to have her guidance with these sparkly powders!  I didn't get a 'before' shot of the panels I created - sorry about that - nor do the photos do the sparkle justice no matter what the lighting or position.  You'll have to take my word for it!

There was plenty of room to cut three of Pinkfresh Studios' Fall Leaf dies from the A2 panel of oranges - here is the result:

That gorgeous grey panel was one of the goodies Marcia gifted
to me - debossed with a Pierced Plaid plate from The Greetery, I added a bit of shading to the edges with Black Soot ink and a splatter of gold.
A sentiment from my stash and it was added to a card base of MFT Steel Grey.

Double D is looking for Fall Leaves!  Lucky me!

Thanks so very much Double D!

Another panel treated to a different Lindy's Magicals immediately brought one of
my embossing folders to mind - it couldn't have been more perfect IMHO...

Beautiful Blooms from Spellbinders is the EF and I topped it
with a simple THANK YOU from The Stamp Market.
Then I remembered a little envelope of sub sentiments I had stamped at
Marcia's over the years!  BINGO - just what I wanted!
Three jewels from PFS and my card was complete!

I'm sharing this one with Can you Handle the Pressure?  September 2024 Fall Colors

After our magicals play, but before Marcia's yummy lunch, was spent stamping away in chatter - me stamping her Penny Black stash, and her stamping a few of mine that I brought along to share.  Here is one that I stamp EVERY year if my memory serves:

This little sweetie is heading over to Four Seasons Fall September 2024 challenge:

I think Marcia is as happy to greet Fall as this darling little leaf-watcher!

Have I shared my 'cheat' for masking?  Yes, that is one of the laminated cards
that SSS includes in every order.  I just used a simple die to cut the circle and
used a blending brush and blue ink to create her wee blue sky!

It's always a treat to spend a few hours with you, my friend!  I hope I have another dozen years or more to share!  Do you think the guys would be kind enough to put us in the same home?? LOL xx

I'm on my way to see what my friend got up to after I left - you know by now we NEVER finish a card while we're together!  Won't you join me?  HERE  There's sure to be LOTS to FALL in love with!

Looks like you both enjoyed a super productive day together. All your cards are gorgeous! The rusty leaves on the black background are stunning. All your cards are just as sweet as can be!

Wow! What a inspiring reminders about the Lindy's Magicals. It's time to play with them again but not as much fun as it would be to do that with you and Marcia! Love, love, love the leaves against the gray! And you used one of my favorite embossing folders for the other. Your little leaf raker always makes me smile! I love the contrast with the rust color embossed background!

Ohhhhh Michele...I absolutely LOVE all 3 of your cards, but your first card with the leaves is my favorite! So dramatic with the darker background and I just love how it makes those leaves POP! Your floral card is just as pretty and I wish everyone could see the shine that we both know is there! And of course your little raking leaves girl couldn't be any cuter and colored to perfection! A trio of loveliness my friend and I can't wait to see more of what you started at my house!! Hugs. :0)

I knew you girls would get into something fun and wowee, I was right! That pretty little Pinkfresh leaf die arrived in my mailbox, can't wait to use it. Yours turned out beautifully! I like the bursts of colors on those embossed mums and I love it when this little PB sweetheart makes an appearance. Fabulous makes, my friend!

I am lost for words on these cards. Just amazing. The first one is a real show stopper, I bet the shine on the second is something really special and the third one is so simple and cute, what's not to love? I have a big smile on my face. Thank you xx

A trio of lovely fall cards. Those leaves with the Lindy's Magicals are so pretty and look great on the black embossed background. That leaf watcher is adorable. Glad you and Marcia can get together and make such wonderful cards and enjoy each other's company. Crafting friends are the best.

I'm always in awe of what the Magicals do and they were perfect for those leaves, Michele, with or without shine. Love how they worked with the embossing folder too. Your little girl is darling and I do remember her from years past. An oldie but a goodie for sure.

What a wonderful menagerie of cards, Michele! I sure wish I could see those Lindy's in person, I have yet to see all that sparkle -- some day... On another note, I love your sweet PB girl too

Sweet memories of a delicious lunch with you and Marcia... next time we need to play! I love all of your playdate cards. That first one is so dramatic - dark in a very lush way. Love the Magicals. I rarely think about the poor things (Brushos) hiding in my watercolor drawer. That's because I am terrified of watercolors as you well know. And I so love when that little sweetheart makes her appearance. Now Autumn has truly begun. Love them all.

Ohhh, beautiful things always come from your stamping play dates with Marcia, or hers with you. When your two craft stashes get together, sigh... Those trailing leaves on the debossed dark gray are mind blowing. I'm in awe! I need to become more acquainted with my Magicals. Not just for leaves, but those Beautiful Blooms as well! Oh, and that darling little leaf raker -- the definition of sweetness! A beautiful line up of inspiring wonder today, Michele! Thank you!
