Seconds, anyone?

A few more flowers couldn't hurt, could they?  A duo of cards using what are considered fall flowers around my neck of the woods.  Mums from Alex Syberia Designs to be exact...

My hues of yellow and orange get a little dark - but AT LEAST I didn't
forget NOT to use green! lol

And yes, my friends, all of those little ASD die cut +'s are still sitting on my desk!
I love this deep orange cover panel, don't you?  When you've pressed but are
too lazy to die cut, those Betterpress sentiments still make a 'banner'
statement IMHO!

Off to Color Hues #93 then it's back to the laundry - I'll be packing for a little excursion this week with my bestie - on his birthday!!

  1. I thought the first card was excellent, but I love the darker background even more! I also love that banner sentiment. Have fun on your trip! We're at a winery outside Traverse City with friends we met in Europe on a tour. Thanks, as always, for sharing your talent with us at Color Hues!

  2. Your Mums are gorgeous Michele, and I love both backgrounds with the +'s too! They definitely both feel like Fall cards (even though the weather outside doesn't feel like Fall!!) and work perfectly for the colors here at Color Hues! Thanks for joining in again...we always love seeing your creations!! Hugs. :0)

  4. That's a good idea with the pressed sentiment. I don't really like die cutting the pressed images as they can lose their pressed look. Your colours are gorgeous xx

  18. Your fall flowers are gorgeous, and I especially love the brown leaves with them. Long about the time I'm feeling like I need more white on my cards you go and make the second card with the terracotta base which displays the mums even better. Happy birthday to Tom and I hope you're enjoying your week!
