The Flower Challenge #83 Reminder

Have we had you seeing spots?  or are stripes your thing?  Either way, we are so happy to have you adding your creations to our gallery at The Flower Challenge - of course they must have the requisite flowers, you know!  I had borrowed a really lovely Botani-cut Geranium set from The Greetery from my friend Marcia recently... it turns out it is right at home on my stripes!

PTI stripes, that is, cut with one of their layering frames.  Adding these inks with a small blending brush allows for lots of depth and dimension.  I made a little 'pot sign' using an old Altenew mini set called Best Sentiments.  Here are those referenced inks:

Alright!  I'm off to see all of the reminders from my teammates, and to check to see if YOU are in the gallery!  Oh, you better believe I am watching!

  1. I have made it back at last! A few days with the grand kids turned into over a week away from blogland. It was completely unintentional, but I found myself overwhelmed and exhausted. Luckily we all had a very nice time and I am now happily recovering and getting back to normal. I see I have missed several pretty special cards from you, but luckily this geranium is my favourite. So vibrant and joyful and those stripes work a treat xx

  3. Lovelovelove this pot o' geraniums! The color is just like some in my fenced in back yard. I had to hide them from the deer. No more pots on my south deck, sniff sniff. The Deer Out doesn't even seem to work anymore. That's what I get for living on the edge of the woods, but I wouldn't trade it. Your card fills me up with smiles, Michele!

  11. Gasp! You would not believe I've made an almost identical card with those geraniums! I must have sent it out because I can't find the original card, but I did take photos. GMTA!! Love how you added the stripes--great design!

  12. I truly love these geraniums but have been resisting them for a long time. I love this creation with them, and that stripy background could not be a more perfect stage for them.

  13. A great way to incorporate stripes in your card! These big bold stripes with the added interest of the frame really make this gorgeous geranium die-cut pop.
