Just us Girls #688 - Photo Moodboard

It is photo/moodboard week at Just us Girls #688 - oh, is she a beauty...

Because of my love of hemstitched linens, that top-middle photo reached out to me today - but I had to add a little touch of that darling kitten that looks JUST LIKE our Hobbes!  I even made a slipcover for my sofa in a print much like this one!

Okay - you came for a card, and I have one for you...

Altenew: Virginia Rose 3D die - Spellbinders Hemstitched Squares
a little love you from ASD Sunkissed Memories

So, you'll have to tell me if you spotted my homage to Hobbes ... thanks, Lisa, for such a gorgeous photo to play with!

  1. Another beauty Michele!! I love the soft pink background with the hemstitch die cutting...so unique and pretty on the angle! And that rose is GORGEOUS and I'm guessing the center is your homage to Hobbes? Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

  3. What a great way to use those hemstitched dies. Love it. Great use of texture and colour too. Thanks for the explanation on the sticky mats yesterday too. Great inspiration, as always xx

  4. This card speaks to me, it's simply dreamy! The layered hemstitched panels and those marvelous flowers were meant to be used togther. As far as Hobbes goes, I spy some little pointed cat ears in the center of the large bloom... but then again it might just be as easy as the love you sentiment! Thanks so much for playing along at Just Us Girls, Michele!

  11. I love all the inspiration photos and I can see why you were drawn to the hemstitch and the sweet kitty on the sofa Michele. I got the one set of hemstitched dies, but you make me want more, like these. LOL Love, love, love this gorgeously stunning card! Hemstitch always is a simple, understated elegance, don't you think?! The flower is beautiful in the white/pink and green. Hum...is your homage to Hobbes the little "cat head/ears" in the center of the flower? Hugs, Brenda
