Color Hues #67

I am playing with another set from Altenew today.  Specifically, the set
that my friend Stephanie used when we stamped together last week
using our new Stampwheels!

Why these Build-a-Flower Coneflowers weren't part of my collection before I will never know!  Their simple layers worked beautifully with Marcia's color combo at

Here are the inks I combined to achieve the various hues of Merlot and navy with a base of
the neutral grey for my leaves.  By now you've probably noticed there is a new die in the house -
you'll be seeing lots of these Altenew Ornate Nesting dies!

For the largest of the two blooms, I used black for the stippled finishing layer but clear
embossed it to make it stand out a little bit more.

This one's in the mail already!  Thanks, Marcia for this lovely combo of colors!
