A playday with Marcia!

A day spent with my friend Marcia is always fun!  Of course, we hugged, laughed, ATE, and shared lots of our crafty goodies - little did we know that we had recently purchased the SAME set from Pinkfresh Studios!   It was decided we'd each have a play with that Grow Wild set on our own and then share our creations on our blogs, and with YOU!

My first card embraced the coming colors of Autumn using the stamps, stencils, and dies.  I also picked up a new background die.  My first go with that didn't turn out so well, but never fear, I trimmed it down so as not to waste it!

The second embraces my heart-favorite colors!  You know them by now...

A much better cutting with that cover plate this time... better done from a half sheet of cardstock than a quarter.  Those tiny slim margins aren't very forgiving.
This sweet little sentiment is from The Greetery and is one I borrowed
from Marcia's stash.

Thanks for another wonderful playdate, my friend!  Can't wait for next time!

There's room for more of you - we wish you could ALL be here to play!

  1. These are both absolutely BEAUTIFUL Michele!! You're really making me wish I had bought the coordinating stamp set and die though...the stamp set really does define the flowers SO much!! I love your color combinations too...I know your favorite is the lovely gray one, but my heart is going for the Autumnal one with the lovely shades of orange/rust...must be because I'm looking forward to Fall! NOT winter mind you...just Fall!! But anyway, both are SO pretty and I love your background die too...lovely, lovely cards my friend! Thanks for another FUN play date too...they are total highlights every. single. time!!! Hugs. :0)

  10. Oh my, the colros in the first card are simply beautiful, Michele! They make me smile. I see what you mean about the background die, but I actually like it like that! The sentiment is so encouraging. Then I see the second card and the background is fantastic and sets off the unique color combination flowers so wonderfully! Michele, you are such an artist! Thank you for sharing your creations! I'm so happy for you and your friend to be able to have such a fun playdate! :)

  12. Two gorgeous cards, Michele. I'm loving the autumn color palette and I seem to be using it lately too. I know you're a gray person and you've managed to give life to it with the other colors you incorporated. I can't wait until the three of us are crafting.

  15. Both these cards are stunning, love the brightness of the first one and then also love the more muted colours of the second one. It is good to see you returning to that lovely grey. I have struggled to keep up the last week or so, so apologies for not visiting every post but I have read them all and admired them from a distance xx
