January 2022 Altenew Inspiration Challenge

How did I come to the near end of the month without playing along
I've remedied that today!  Hope they like it - I couldn't resist these gorgeous
colors when all I can see around me is the glare of white snow!

Our hostess, Reiko, shared this wonderful photo she took as our inspiration.  I thought of the wonderful Altenew Sunflower Daisies right away...

A sweet birthday sentiment from Fresh Freesia - one of my oldest [2015],
most often used Altenew sets!
I love the font - this time I stamped it in Moss ink instead of my usual black.

One of the small branches of leaves was stamped randomly on my
panel, then I embossed it using Altenew's Geo Steps.

Here are the inks used today...

Off I go to get this into their gallery before it's too late!
Thanks for stopping by!

And I am absolutely loving your embossed background too...so much so that I just went to Altenew's site and ordered that folder (and maybe a couple other ones)! Lovely, lovely card my friend and definitely a great way to chase away the Winter blues!! Hugs. :0)

  9. Michele., this card brightened my heart, and so will a card receiver's! I love that you stamped the sentiment in Moss ink for this card, tying the sentiment to the leaves. The Geo Steps dry embossing in the background looks like a lattice fence and it gives the flowers liveliness. Love this card!

  13. Oh my Michele, this is a gorgeous card! Looks almost exactly like the inspiration photo! The layers, the embossing, the flowers, the colors...wow, wow, wow! I do love a black sentiment, but I am loving it in this moss green too, especially on this card. Love that font as well. Gorgeous card my friend, once again you knocked a challenge out the park! 14. This is so gorgeous, Michele. I so love the colors, and the flowers are so beautiful. Love your arrangement, and oh that EF!!!! I missed that one, but I just love the dimension it gives. Freesia is my favorite flower and it is the first Altenew set I bought. I do LOVE the font on that sentiment. Another fabulous creation by YOU.
