Pinkfresh Studio October 2021 Challenge

I am so happy that I had a little time on Saturday to play cards!  Sunday arrived, and brought with it a new computer - how shall I say this?  It wasn't pretty!  Everything new isn't better, in my opinion... perhaps I'm just resistant to change?  lol

At long last, I was able to edit some photos of the cards I made for
Pinkfresh Studio's October 2021 Challenge  One card uses a wonderful sentiment die from The Stamp Market that I bought at the end of year 2020 - not sure if it is allowable.  So I just made another!

Questionable Card #1:

Card #2 is heading for their gallery!  This sentiment is from Merry Little Christmas!

Both were made using Pop-Out Folk Christmas - a wonderful set that stamps all of these darling characters, while the die cuts ALL of them at once!  I just love that!  I would never have chosen these colors for a Christmas card, but now that I've used them, I can't wait to use them again!

So happy that you stopped by - thanks so much!

  5. Oh gosh, sorry about the frustrations with the new computer. Glad you are up and running, though. I think I am with you in regards to some new changes myself, so we can commiserate together! ;) That said, your cards are wonderful! Such fun and festive images, colored just right. Thanks for always thinking outside the box on your card designs. I love your creativity! Hugs!

  6. I don't know what's questionable about the 1st card, but I'm loving both of them! Never would have thought up that color palette for Christmas either, but it totally works on both cards! And I feel your pain about the new computer! Chris has been talking about the new Windows 11 and I've already told him he's not touching my laptop and that I'll just use it till it's no longer supported and dies...I HATE change!! But anyway, FABULOUS cards and can't wait to see you tomorrow!! Hugs. :0)

  8. You have used these colors brilliantly, Michele! Both of these scenes are awesome! Love the first with the sweet bird adding the star to the Christmas tree! Your placement of the holly and deer around that fantastic sentiment adds wonderful dimension and fun!

  9. I think any colors are good for Christmas and the ones you used are perfect for the stamp set, Michele. I love how you cut the embossed panel around the J and how you organized the images on both cards.

  10. Questionable? Why? Think it's beautiful with all the little elements scattered over the big sentiment (which I love how you used). And, the second card is equally as sweet especially the way you adorned the sentiment and deer.

  11. I am with LeAnne - I want everything I see here - especially those skinny skinny letters! These are sweet as can be! and they all die cut at once?!?!? Now you're talking my language - too much pottsing around can make me crazy!

  12. I love the textured background on the first card...is that the cardstock or a really neat embossing folder? Both cards are so fun!!
