Altenew Inspiration Challenge - June 2021

This shot might have been taken from our canoe!

Hello friends, I'm so happy to be playing along in Altenew's Inspiration Challenge again!  Tenia's photo from her vacation sure did inspire me today!

Here's a little closeup so you can see how I added the movement in my water! wink.

With Altenew's Geo Steps 3D embossing folder!
All the branches are from Pen Sketched Silhouette, stamped in a combo of Butternut, and yellow ochre inks.
I blender-brushed on strokes of Caribbean Sky, and Persian Blue for the water.

A few splatters of ink, and a dash of sequins for glimmer, and
my card is done!  All I'm missing are the ducks!

  2. The feel of that texture must be lovely. Using the embossing folder for movement was very clever (when are you not?). It makes your golden foliage really stand out.

The blue of the water really highlights your branches, too. And the sentiment is perfect. Wonderful card, Michele.
