The Christmas Kickstart #44

I know I've already met my limit of 2 cards today, but [since all my cards have been mailed]  I've had a bit of play time with a new Distress Oxide ink:  Speckled Egg - yes, it is new to me, you've probably had it for an age!  Another new thing, too:  Altenew's Dotted Starburst Debossing cover die!  Okay... ready for my card for Christmas Kickstart #44?

Well would you look at that ... another new thing!  MFT Snowflake Window!

I know one of you would have magically turned this into a shaker ... but I didn't want to cover up any of that cover plate! The little star was floating around in my snippets bin.  All I did was add 'peace' in the perfect size from an old [no longer available] W&W set.

Those of you who know me well know that blue isn't my favorite color - this gorgeous shade has my heart!

Peace out, peeps!

Thank you, Jo and Shirley!  I'm very honored!!

  1. Jaw drop! What a stunner, Michele. I love everything about your card. Speckled egg is a beautiful colour on it's own, but I've found it doesn't always mix well with others (sounds like me!). Thanks for wowing Shirley and me at Christmas Kickstart, Jo x

  7. Oh, my! This is so beautiful and peaceful! You have used this color so beautifully and that snowflake die is making me wonder why I hadn't seen it when they had the sale? Love that little star too. Primitive stars are my favorites! Hope you have a peaceful day, my friend.

  10. See, I don't think of this as blue...it's so soft and warm and like a...well...bird's egg. That means new life and more beauty to me. Just like this card. I wouldn't have covered up that gorgeous panel with anything else, either. You've, as always, added just the right touch.
