CAS[E] this Sketch #400

As I often do, I've flipped today's Sketch #400 to accommodate my little gang of friends ... here's the original:

Good thing they're holding on tight to each other!  Enter another CCC- Anita Jeram design - oh, did you think there wouldn't be more??

inside: "Grey skies are gonna clear up... put on a happy face!"

Since the rebirth of the embossing folder around blogland, I've really dug into my abundant supply to find this cutie* by Sizzix for Stampin' Up.  I've taken the tiniest little blending brush [from the set I found on Amazon] to add white pigment ink to the clouds - quite effective, right?

My friends, from Better Together, are looking forward to what's over the horizon [this horizon is also CCC - Stripes and Dots] and I'm with them all the way - good thing I have you all to help get me through these days - where would I be without all of YOU!?

Now, let's go see what my talented teamies got up to, shall we?  Then I hope to see YOU in our CTS400 gallery!

  17. Love everything about this from that amazing sky to the subtle colours and the patterned paper, a truly stunning card and the really great thing is that I recently bought that stamp set and haven't used it yet so I might just get it out, but I have to get all my Christmas stuff done first. Thanks for the inspiration xx

I have this embossing folder, but I never thought of adding white ink to the clouds. It's very effective! The stripes and dots on the hill are a really nice touch. And of course, a wonderful take on the sketch!
