CAS[E] this Sketch #393 Retro week!

It's retro week again!!  This time we're having another play with CTS#134 ... check here to see if you played in July 2015!  I won't forget the struggle I had making my DT card that week ...  I think I did better this year!  You be the judge. lol

Here is that Sketch:

I found just the perfect [also from 2015!] set from Neat n Tangled for my card ... here's how I saw it this time:

I love all the shades of grey in a great big 12x12 pad of neutrals from
Michael's I picked up a few years ago - I doubt I'll ever use it all!

My circles were created using Essential Circles, which not only cuts the circle, but a tiny border circle - which really came in handy to form my 'hoop!'  The 'stitches' were stamped in black and clear embossed.

If you did play along in 2015, be sure you show your old with your new - we love seeing them both!  Now, let's go see what the team did with CTS393/134, shall we?

  9. LOVE this....you had me at the embroidery hoop! I always used to make cross-stitched pictures and "frame" them in a hoop! Yours is so modern and classic!

  11. I'm sure you had me in mind when you chose all those lovely grays, lol!! I love gray almost as much as you do! This is such a graphically pretty card. Love the soft touch of 'stitching', too. It's not too little and not too much. As a baby bear once said, it's just right! Sweet card. Stay safe my friend. xo Bev

  15. I had to take a look back to see what I did and it wasn't bad. I had a good idea for last week's challenge and didn't get time to make it. This week ideas escape me so far but your card is the right combo of ingenuity and design, Michele.
