CAS Mix-Up Challenge July 2020

If I've said it once, I've said it a dozen times:  'I'm not a Stencil girl!'  Until today!!  Turns out I have the perfect stencil for CAS Mix-Up's July Stencil Tracing Challenge!!  I hope you agree - btw I had the most fun video crafting recently!  Thanks Cat for making this card so much more fun to make during our video chat today!   Can't wait for the next time - let's not choose laundry day again, 'kay?  lol

I was lucky to win the stencil I used for my card from ClarityStamp which is in the UK.   Sadly I'm not seeing this particular stencil in their shop right now.  While it is intended for use on an A5 card - I simply adjusted it to create my own 'slimline' card that fits perfectly in a #10 business envelope:
4 x 9.25"

Are you ready?

Armed with these Oxide inks, and a makeup brush,
I went to work - well, I went to play really!

I always manage to get a blob somewhere when
blending … Cat helped me turn a negative into
these sweet clouds!
It was easy peasy to trace that stencil - the key
is taping it down so it can't move around!

Thanks, Nancy, for making me stretch through your fun technique!

  2. This is brilliant, I love the cloud effect in the sky and this stencil is perfect for the outline technique which really helps give definition. The birds look great with the 2 colours. Well done you. So glad you and Cat had a good session together, her card is a cracker too xx
