Counting my blessings with EBE

After the weekend I had complaining about my blogger problems, I woke this morning with a design in my head that made me laugh at myself... after all sh*t could be SO much worse, and I'm blessed to say we have our health!

Hope it brings you a grin, or a laugh:

Julie Ebersole's Voices in my Head to the rescue again!
Man … she just gets me!

My PPE were cut from a scrap of aqua cardstock in my stash, using my favorite hand die for the glove, and MFT Blueprint 33 for the mask - you'll notice I had to do a little surgery to make it the right size.  A bit of scoring/folding/gluing of string, and I think it's just what the doctor ordered today!  A bit of simple background stamping with Pattern Play adds a touch of interest, and a Waffle Flower Nesting postage stamp dies came to my rescue for the panel, and sentiment, too.  Speaking of which... hope it doesn't offend - sometimes you just have to let it rip!

  12. Love this! So glad you didn't let this get you down for too long. Yes, it could be worse, but that doesn't mean it wasn't super frustrating for you to have to try to figure things out either. During a time when things are super frustrating to begin with. It's okay to be bummed by the issue. You came out swinging and made a super neat project! Hugs!

  16. That little mask is a work of art, Michele!! So realistic! Ugh, I know I catch myself thinking...really, Ivana, you want to complain about that today? But such is life, little things still find a way, don't they? Great reminder though to keep on keeping on! I hope the blogger stuff gets sorted soon xoxo

  22. Offend??? I've been known to have truck-driver mouth tendencies so this is something I've heard before. The card is just plain genius. All those elements put together make for the perfect card at this time. Fabulous.

  24. Hi Michele! I totally LOVE this card! This is super awesome! I got called back to work because I agreed to be an essential worker, so my aunt, a retired cardiac nurse, made me a few cloth masks that I have wearing while I'm on the job. So when I saw this card, I was going to make this for her to thank her for the masks! Maybe I still will, but once I added up the cost of every die and stamp set you used, well, that became prohibitive, since hubby is still furloughed without pay. But, I wanted you to know that I think this card is SO AWESOME I am actually going to save up and order all the sets anyway! THAT is how amazing I think this perfect card is! Your creative ideas blow me away every time! Keep inspiring, and keep crafting, for all of us too busy and exhausted at the end of my shift to do much crafting right now, but still love feeling inspired! You are THE BEST!
    Warm Hugs!

  28. Who could you possibly offend with this gorgeous card, Michele! In fact, I think it should be sent to every ER and ICU in the country...no, the world! Believe me, the nurses would get it :) Love your color palette and beautiful background, too :)
