CAS Watercolour Challenge: Luck o' the Irish!

I'm a student of hard work, and never relied on luck... but when it comes to friends?  Why don't I just let this little red-haired Irish Lass do the talking...

Inside: I must have the Luck o' the Irish to be so blessed!

Do you recognize this little gal?  You might be thinking she looks familiar … okay, she's normally sporting a pretty pair of wings.  If you guessed MFT's Butterfly Kisses, you'd be right.  I stamped her, embossed it, die cut using the coordinating dies, and quickly snipped her wings... she was okay with it.  Especially after giving her those little shamrock's for her headband!

May I give you a little closeup?  You'll see the glimmer o' gold!

She's heading over to join my friends at CAS Watercolour Challenge... thanks, Julia - what a fun challenge you've given us this month!

Hope you are having a wee bit of Spring-like weather where you are!  I know I'll be grateful for every bit of sunshine you'll bring to me!

  6. Well, I am certainly wishing I had a cute little shamrock headband like hers...but maybe it would not look as cute as hers, perched in her pretty red hair! I love everything about this!

  7. What a sweetie, and I LOVE her shamrock headband!!! Reminds me of those headbands that have the elements on springs, wobbling all over -- love those too! Here's some sunshine for you -- we were in upper 60's today but supposed to get another dusting of snow on Sunday, with lows of 20's! That's because I just pruned my roses... doh

  12. Oh my, is she darling! I love her headband! I think my girls wore those types of headbands well beyond the "appropriate" age - lol! Thanks for your comment about my Lili of the Valley cards. They only do digis now but I happen to know a certain Michigander who owns a LARGE collection of their stamps *cough*Marcia*cough

  14. Your gratitude is duly noted and I hope Spring comes to soon. For just a taste, were supposed to be at 78 degrees today. Much too early for that but, thankfully, I was able to fertilize the lawn this week.
After being MIA for so long, it's good to see such a bonnie Irish lass. Your diligent altering makes her perfect for this challenge...think it's a winner.
