CAS[E] this Sketch #358

Donna never fails to inspire me with her fun Sketches ... check out this little honey of a Sketch for CTS#358 ...

I am guilty of a wee bit of shopping during January ... this little buy from The Stamp Market is destined to become a favorite in my stash of cover dies!  It's called Happy Hearts - and it sure makes my heart happy!  and she cuts like BUTTAH!

This was my first order of their Color Crush cardstocks, too ... it has a wonderful 'hand' and a good weight, too!  Think MFT, and PTI weight.

Those of you who also own this die will start questioning how I've managed to make the four rows of hearts into a row of three ... here's how:

Simply line up the die where you want your finished edge, and partial die cut up to that point.  easy peasy.

Hope you like my color combo today ... I had to show my daughter that hot pink and orange DO make a fun combination!

No matter what colors you choose, I do hope you will choose to play along at CTS#358!

You'll spy another favorite cover die - from Wplus9 - on that back strip of pink:  Stitched Ironworks Background and the sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studios' Aviary set - which sadly sold out!

  2. Love the color combo, bet your daughter does too, now. Clever of you make the cover die fit and to include some dry embossing...that's always sure to win my heart.
