CAS[E] this Sketch #337

I have a very special post for the very special guy in my life … it's Tom's birthday - and since he just started following my blog, I hope he misses this one!

I recently watched the fabulous Shari Carroll make a box card - something I've never done.  Donna's Sketch this week surely does provide the perfect time to try one!

Check out CTS #337:

Shari gives us clear directions on the size, and even the score-line measurements, in her video, so do plan on checking out her adorable card!

Okay... time for the ta DAH!  For my darling butterfly-blooming-bluebird-watching husband...

I found a way to place a pocket on the back... but you'll understand if I keep the sentiment to myself, right?  wink.

Hope you have a certain someone special that will spark a bit of creativity to share with us at CTS this week!

  4. Well, Happy Birthday to Tom. I'm sure he's going to love this card because his most significant other has included all the things he excels in and likes to do. Love how you've incorporated Shari's tutorial and made it your own...or should I say, Tom's.

  18. Hi Michele,

Hope you get this as I am a bit unfamiliar with this format. I so enjoyed meeting you and Tom at our Art Gallery this morning!! You both touched my soft spots : art and nature..... with your amazing cards and the monarch butterflies. So glad I was working when you came in!

Did you make it to the boardwalk?

Hope you'll keep in touch. My email address is on my business card. I am much more comfortable with that format but I still plan to check out all the fabulous cards you make!

Safe travels home on this busy Labour Day weekend.

    Pat
