Essentials by Ellen July Release Hop

The Ellen Hutson, LLC Design Ambassadors have been teasing all week … it's time to release the release with a fun Release Hop!  You should have arrived here from the fabulous, fun, gorgeous, and talented Kelly Griglione's blog!  [even more fab irl!]

I have several cards to share... so let's keep this Hop hopping!

Since I used Julie's Waves dies on yesterday's card, I'm shaking things up with Subbing In stamps, and dies today.  It's about a little blue jellyfish in the ocean, peeking into the Porthole of that submarine, and totally jelly of its fabulous interior design - I think he plotzed my shaker elements!

Wednesday I used the rooster from Good Egg stamps and dies to bring birthday fun to a friend … today I'm taking you into the hen-house, or might it be the dog-house for one of these chicks? ruh roh…

If you look really closely, you will notice a few 'chicken tracks' that I made using
one of Julie's Stitching Lines set! the walls of the coop using EBE Painted Stripes.
and those new Waves were dry embossed to create a little loft in the hay!

I just can't stop singing along with my little old ant from Tuesday's post and Life's a Picnic stamps and dies - he's got high hopes, and can do anything, with a little help from his [many] friends!

My inside thoughts:
'Even when the snacks are all gone!'

Which brings us full-circle back to the very first peek on Monday -Brandi always fills her Leading Lady sets with oodles of fun little stamps... that penne pasta from Cooking Lady stamps and dies was just asking to be masked, and tossed into the colander!  Do we pun-loving girls stick together, or what?

My teensy little frame-cut was a bit of a leftover from cutting
the MFT Wonky Square from a bit larger piece of DP - both

So, there you go!  Thanks, so much, for hanging out with me this week!  It's time for me to send you off to the one and only Therese Calvird - let's face it... anything I can do she can do a million times better!!

BUT before you go, please leave a comment - We've got super fun prizes!!!  One random & lucky commenter from all the hop-stops will win $25 to the EH shop, and one will win the whole July Essentials by Ellen release!!!  To enter for a chance to win, make sure to leave comments at each stop along the hop!  Comment before Thursday, July 18th at 11:59pm PST.  Winners will be notified by email!

  9. You've just got to stop! I just placed an order (more copics this time...) and I already want pretty much this whole release. You've showcased these stamps and dies perfectly. The color against the b&w in your shaker is so darn effective. Good wallpaper for a sub or a cruise ship. Coloring perfection on this and all your cards, I might add! Those chickens...I can hear them saying (like my kids used to say...) "not me!" Naughty children! Love the ramp you've created too, for your little anties. Cutie patootie card! Your last card is worth much more than a 'penne.' Hahahahaha. Sorry. Couldn't resist. What a great job on all of these. You've outdone even yourself! Love 'em. Have a wonderful weekend. xo Bev

  42. Gosh, Michele, you've created such a brilliant showcase ... not just here but all week! I'm not going to even try to choose a favourite from among this quartet because they all are ... those monochrome fish around the fun porthole ... the brilliant colouring and fabulous detailing in the hen house ... the cute, high hopes wrap around picnic ... and that scrummy penne, beautifully presented against the lovely pp layers! A triumph, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)

  43. No wonder you've been busy, Michele. Your mind must have been in overdrive to create all these inventive cards. Those chickens are a riot and the jellyfish shaker terrific but it's the "across the whole back of the card" ant picnic that really wowed me! Spectacular cards all!!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  45. WOW...so much cuteness here!!! Love it all.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wow, all of your cards are simply amazing Michele! I so love the jelly fish looking in the porthole of the sub. So cute! I had to laugh at the hen house one, it does indeed look like the inside of a hen house. Love how you have colored those hens up too, they have such texture and great colors. Especially love the hen tracks. The picnic basket card just makes me smile and of course you can't have summer without a picnic or picnic basket with ants! Cute the way you have wrapped the scene around to the back of the card. And your last card is just so pretty with those beautiful papers and colors. Two of my favorites....ok, I know I love all colors, but I am really partial to greens and yellows. Love the play on words as well. Great job show casing all these stamp/die sets! Hugs, Brenda

  47. Oh my goodness, I'd so love to win this release!! There are so many aspects of it that I just love! It's versatile, to say the least. I adore the hen house card you made. What a hoot! And the ants carrying the slice of watermelon at the picnic, such a giggle. Also anything to do with the ocean is right up my alley as that is my favourite place to be, sitting looking at & listening to it, floating on it in a boat, or better yet, swimming in it. What a fabulous release Ellen.
