PinkFresh Studio April 2019 Challenge

Lea has given us gorgeous Spring time colors to play with this month … and I have put a few new Pinkfresh products into my stash!  It's time to put them together for their April 2019 Challenge - Frames & Shakers.

Here is how I managed to frame my Dainty Blossoms, without a shaker element...

Since I'd already added a layer of fun foam under the scalloped Classic Edger panel, adding another for a shaker element was out of the question if this were ever to be mailed!  All those little grey dots were re-dotted with Nuvo Clear Glaze to give them the look of shaker-style!

While I had these wonderful dies out, I cut enough to fill a garden … and even managed to make a card with the snippets left over!

Hope you are enjoying many blessings today... I certainly count you all among the blessings in my life... happy Easter!

  2. Happy Easter, Michele! When I saw these cheerful cards, I thought spring had finally come to your place. :-)
Love the bright colors against white and the shaker-style! The very thin framing is a airy wonderful touch.
Fantastic idea to use the negatives of the die-cuts and beautifully layer them under the white die-cut. I love these springy cards!

  3. Beautifully put together Michele. I love them both. I am especially fond of the second one. The strip with the negative cuts and the white sprig simply stunning in my opinion. Happy Easter my friend.

  16. Two stunning and beautiful cards Michele! That first one is amazing, I love how you have given a shaker look without it being a shaker. It's so colorful and cheery as well, which of course makes one feel so happy! Your second card makes great use of the negative leftovers. I love this one as much as the first one! Well done my friend! Hugs, Brenda
