CAS[E] this Sketch #307

Donna created a wonderful Sketch for #307!

I'm using a little gift that was tucked into a Christmas card sent all the way from Denmark!  Wasn't I the lucky one to have just the perfect grey cardstock, and background stamp* to create the perfect backdrop for this darling die-cut pocket**?

Is that not the coolest?  Anne-Mette sent several - and she truly knows how much I love grey!  LOVE that little tag for adding a few kisses and hugs... but that gold foil zipper?  It is so cool, right?  [I added a bit of stitching on my new machine!]

Do you know I like making cards that sing?  See if you can guess this very old tune... Anne-Mette knew it!  and it's sung in the movie: Love Actually!

Do you also know how happy I am when you drop in for a visit?  Yep... always makes me smile ... so do my teamies at CTS.  Let's go!

*My MFT Cheesecloth background stamp is no longer available - sadly!

**This die set is currently only available in Denmark... but here's a link!

  4. FANTABULOUS. Love those grays and the hint of blue in them. Every small thing you added HAD to be there and makes this card IT. Blanking on the song though.

  14. The first thing I noticed was the stitching! Oh my gosh, how cool is that?? Now I want a machine that does that. LOL Then I noticed your lovely gray! So pretty. Then I saw the pocket. Awesome. And then the zipper. Such a fabulous card, Michele! Sadly I think I am wrong in the song that came to my mind. Zippety Doo Dah. LOL I never saw Love Actually, so that didn't help me. So, zippety doo dah, zippety day. My oh my, have a wonderful day! Hugs!

  16. Wow Michele! I am so loving this card! First off that pocket with the golden zipper is so cute! Love that it came from so far away, that makes it even more special. I can't believe you had the perfect match of grey card stock to go with it! Love that you sewed on your card as well, I need to try that more often. The little side tag is so adorable with the die cut xoxo in it. Yep, I am loving everything about this card, including the sketch! Yep, you did it again....got that song in your head now? Hugs, Brenda
