Inspired By #49 ... peppermint

What would we do without Peppermint sticks, or candy canes at Christmastime?  I'm so happy Laurel couldn't do without...

… and doubly happy I had this darling little Casual Friday mug die to play with!  It's so simple to make it just the right size, and a few embossing powders made them look a bit like pewter!  I just swiped, sprinkled, and melted them one at a time.

Ranger Watering Can is the darkest, white for highlights in the center, and silver.  well.  it is a Christmas card!  My peppermint sticks were made by stamping a diagonal stripe in red, on white, and clear embossing for a shiny candy coating!

I'm now inspired to have cocoa - chocolate peppermint will do nicely!   Come have a cup with me, then make a card for Inspired By #49!  We'll be so happy if you do!

I'm also sending this one over to the Coffee Lovers … I think  cocoa is allowed!  amy will like it, don't you think?

  1. Wow, Michele, another fabulous card. I like how you added the embossing. It adds a wonderful realism to your mugs. Clever you, adding the stripes the way you did. I also like how that die cut is at an angle. Sure adds more visual interest. Thank you so much for sharing!
