Inspired By #37 ... time to bake

Along the Lake Michigan shoreline, it's definitely feeling a bit like Fall, my friends!   It's officially my favorite time to bake, and cook!  I have a darling little Chef in my stash who agrees...

My first pot of chili of the season is on the stove top... time to get that oven preheating for cornbread ... what will you be baking up for Inspired By this week?

  3. It's much the same around here - perfect weather for roasting, baking and simmering pots. Love this sweet little chef and all those whisks flying about! Reminds me a little of the mess I make when I'm in the kitchen ;)

  4. So cute! Do you know, I have this stamp set from when it was first released and it's never seen ink (as she hangs her head in shame...)

  5. Oh she's cute and that sentiment is so much fun! We just had a pot of chili too during those cool rainy days. Back to muggy and hot today though...

  6. Michele, when I saw the words "pot of chili" and "cornbread", I forgot what I was doing for a moment. ;-P OK, focus, Hideko!
Love the color combo you used for this card. The arrow-like whisks in the background are perfect for the sentiment!

  7. That a cutie, Michele ... and such a fun and perfect sentiment (and such good advice!)! No autumn-ness here yet ... blue skies and sunshine still! Hugs, Anita :)

  8. Love it! You are all about taking whisks and they seem to pay off beautifully for you! Your little sweetie is so cute. Must be cooling off in your neck of the woods to make chili. We have been in the 90s in my neck of the woods!

  9. This little chef reminds me of YOU! Too hot, damp and dreary for chili right now....still running the A/C and waiting for Hurricane Florence to drench us with some of her wind and rain! But your card IS sweet and makes me happy!

  10. The punny sentiment had me right off, Michele, but that girl is darling.

  11. Oh, what a fun sentiment! Love your background and that adorable little cook! Your chili and cornbread sounds so tempting but our muggy weather keeps me from fixing some yet.
