Celebrations!

No it's not my birthday, anniversary, or any special day at all - except that I'm celebrating finally owning my very own Altenew Celebrations stamp set, and dies!

Here's what all the fuss is about:

So... I had to turn their bow into a butterfly!

I've loved it since I witnessed this card by Emily Leiphart … it was time - and the bundle is on sale!  Always a bonus!

Thanks Altenew!

  1. Mchele, what a fabulous collection of cards. I love those soft watercolor backdrops that perfectly frame your stamped images. I can see why you wanted the set. And thanks for the earworm...fortunately i like the Carpenters. Hopefully we'll see more (you've) only just begun....with this set.

  3. Truly time to celebrate as you have made this set shine! I think it's a great too and keep going back to it over and over, those sentiments are brilliant and I've used them on so many designs but it's the bunch of flowers that steals my heart every time lol.

  5. These are all so beautiful, would make a wonderful card set to give as a gift. I love how you have used them all and now realise I should have bought that set with my last order. Thought nah what would you do and here it is, minimal colouring, loose watercolour and looks amazing.

  8. I can see why you had to have this set, Michele! You've done such an amazing job playing with it, too...the sweet bouquet and rosebud caught my eye, and I love how you colored and designed with all the images! I also love how your watercolor wash makes all of the images pop, too! A beautiful collection of cards, my friend!

I will be so bold as to say I am searching for a card you made with one white gerbera flower from UNIKO stamps peeking from an oval shape .... can you help me find that card on your blog! Immense thanks to you!

  13. Actually, Michele, Altenew should be thanking you for showcasing this set in the most beautiful way ... each card is gaspingly gorgeous! The softness of the colours is so perfect ... both in the colouring and in the delicate backgrounds. My favourites? The first delightful bouquet ... and the third with the tea and cakes ... yum, yes please! Hugs, Anita :)
