CAS[E] this Sketch #270 Retro: 167

Our Retro Sketch has quickly become a favorite in the month ... everything old is new again these days!  From hairstyles to fashion... why not a remake of a card?

Here is my original card from April 2016:

And the Sketch:

Today, I lifted those design elements up, and used this wonderful Lil' Inkers die - a wonderful gift from a wonderful friend - and another die cut word!

Before anyone tells me I have my colors out of
rainbow-order, there is a reason for it!
The Sparkle shows much better on the orange!
Maybe you need a close-up for the Sparkle?

I've had such fun reimagining this Sketch ... do you have your original?  We'd love to see it, and your remakes in the CTS gallery this week!

Supplies:
Lil' Inkers Fanfare Scallop border die - thank you, Jen!
Cardstock from my snippets bin
Stickles to add Sparkle to my Sparkle!

  6. Fabulous cards, I remember the first one. Still love it. Your second card is one sweet pile of sherbet colors. On this hot day (90) its making my mouth water.

  14. I love your take on this challenge, Michele! The subtle gray and bold red on your original card is beautiful and I love how you played with the colors of the rainbow on your re-make! I have to say...I didn't notice that your rainbow was out of order...I guess that's because your card is so fabulous :) You certainly know how to inspire us, my friend!
