CAS[E] this Sketch #260

Chrissy's Sketch #260 this week is so open for a million possibilities!  Check it out...

Am I right?  So much fun!  Here's where my imagination took me... [are you ready for your ear-worm Cat?  I'm a little tea pot ... or in this case, a tea cup!]

Okay... so I had to stretch my imagination a bit - and perhaps you'll also have to stretch yours!   I didn't have a large cup die, so I created my cup and saucer using the MFT Wonky Ovals - yes, even the cup handle!  somebody forgot the tea... =|

Hellooo!  have I done my math properly?  260 = 5 years of Sketches!!!  Always one for a party, I'm going to have a little prize to a random commenter here on my blog!  By post time, I will have also published my 1100th post - truly a mind-blowing moment to me!

Good luck, my friends!!  Thank you, always, for supporting me on my blogging journey!

Now go get your thinking caps on, people!!!  We need a FULL gallery this week to celebrate, don't you think?

We have a winner, my friends!!!
Linda Callahan!!
Congratulations, my friend!
Thanks to you all, for your support, and always making me feel like I'm doing something right!!

  1. Lionel was already in my head as I glanced through the CTS page right before getting here...so now the whole day is shot that song will be playing until I sleep. At least I like it...lol

Okay so now on to that bit of brilliance...so totally awesome my friend. To make your own teacup and it took ZERO imagination to see it that is how fabulous you are!

  3. 1100 posts! Talk about an impressive milestone and I'm pleased that I've seen/read every single one (and commented on one or thirty, too *grin*). Here's to a 1100 x 1100 more of your awesome posts paired with WOW cards! Speaking of which...yep, your inventive design here is certainly "my" cup of tea! And your sentiments...please make some stamp sets for those of us who love your wit but lack your ingenuity. Pretty please...with sugar?

  12. There's that gorgeous pink and gray paper! Absolutely perfect for your sweet little teacup!! I always laugh when I hear the 'teapot' song...when my sister was little, she would end it..."sock it to me baby, let it all hang out!" We'd laugh and laugh at that! This card, however, just makes me smile. From the papers and colors to the cleverly made cup. You're a whiz! Have a great weekend. Bev

  21. Congratulations on 1100 posts, Michele! I'm so happy for your great achievement! I appreciate that you always inspire and amaze me, and often make me laugh. :-D
This card is another example of your clever way of stretching your supplies. Making a tea cup & saucer using the wonkey Oval STAX and a tea bag using a tag die. I would never think of that!
And I remember that you said we would see the sentiment cut-out when you used the die cut-out negative portion for another card. We did today. :-) Hideko

  22. Many congratulations on 1100 posts, Michele ... each as fabulous as the previous one ... and always a delight to see! Here's to the next 1100! Your tea cup is a stroke of genius ... so creative and clever ... it's lovely to see those delicious PP letters appear here ... I've been waiting to spot them! Ear worm ... yes, though it's getting on for bedtime so I guess it'll only be there for an hour or so!! Hugs, Anita :)

  23. Wow, congrats on your milestone--each is always amazing! Your tea cup is so clever--goes to show we all need to be more creative with our supplies. Sorry I haven't been around lately. We were on vacation and then I have had a problem where I couldn't leave comments. Very strange but it at last it seems okay--keeping my fingers crossed.
