Rotten bananas ...

... and lemons: when life hands them to you, make something to eat/drink ... my words to live by.  Right now life is pushing us to be stronger, more faith-filled, reverent, loving, and generous.  We're up for it.  What do I do first?  Cook, and make cards.

Just when I needed a smile, and just the right words, my newest arrivals from Wplus9 arrived:  Happy Birds!

Inside:  'Life truly is a balancing act ... we've got this.'

After stamping them all, I just couldn't help but
leave a few in black and white!
What a perfect feathered paper, yes?

Inside:  "... you're not feeling too 'chirp-er.'
Whatever we can do?  Consider it done."

That's it for me this week.  Thanks so much for hanging out with me for a bit ... it helps more than you'll ever know.

  11. I LOVE your cards! I actually 'had to' order from the US as soon as I saw them, so they are flying on their way to me right now and I can't wait (it's the Harper'ishness that I couldn't resist - I couldn't afford the PTI ink ones, but totally prefer these ones anyway, things always work out for a reason).

  16. That Happy Mail you received resulted in 2 gorgeous cards, Michele (and I suspect, a LOT more in the days and weeks to come)! A fun stamp set indeed, as we can see by these cards. The Heart Juggling Birdie definitely put a smile on MY face, and I agree that the feather DP is a perfect backdrop on your 2nd card.
